The best closest Tiger Sanctuary from Hyderabad Visited the place for more than 15 safaris and will continue to visit. Safari over here is better than Tadoba because of the landscape.

This place is approx a 6 hour drive from hyderabad and is a good option if someone is seeking adventure and is interested in wildlife photography. Visit In summer better as you would stand a good chance to spot a tiger

Tipeshwar Wild life Sanctuary in Maharashtra is about 350 kms from Hyderabad. If you are looking for fun and adventure and this is the place you must check out. Booked Safari ride some two days before on line. The suzuki gypsies are quite good ones for a ride. The forest department needs a pay for organising the rides with guides systematically. Unfortunately we could not spot the tigers except for few Nilgais but the whole trip was so so exciting and we will definitely come back to see the tiger.

Not a well organized gate . Counter opens just 15 min before the gates open and then they get calls for jugadu bookings. In the process all other works stop. There is a new asphalted approach road from NH 44 which is great, though a bit narrow. Over the years the gate entrance and also the inside roads are being developed by the department. Still a bumpy ride at many places.

One of the best wildlife sanctuary in Maharashtra. All day most of the gypsies are occupied and there are few which are available to book on spot. Chances are more to get sighting of Tigress. And you can sight other animals quiet easily. I would recommend to visit it once and enjoy the Safari.

I visited here last week. It was my first time at tipeshwar for tiger safari and bird watching. There is a small office where you book your gypsy and guide. (It is recommended to do online bookings as it is cheaper and every day there is a limit of the number of gypsy that enter. There is a very organised way in which you get gypsy. There is an order of guide and gypsy assignment no one is preferred over the other. The condition of gypsy is questionable. But the overall experience is great

This is my all time gate to enter the jungle.Acces is good and resorts nearby are awesome.

The process to fill in the receipts and car information takes too much time, it could go much faster.
