One of its kind in Kerala. A unique enterprise. Everyone can visit and enjoy life size wax status of known persons and celebraties. Enough parking space. The whole family can visit. Recommended
The museum's affordable entry fee of 100 per person was a great value for the incredible displays they had to offer. I loved that they allowed visitors to take photos and videos - it really made the visit even more memorable. The attention to detail in the wax figures was remarkable, making it feel like I was standing right next to some of my favorite celebrities and historical figures. The museum's ambiance was captivating, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a must-visit attraction that offers a lot of fun and entertainment for the price!
It was an amazing experience. The statues look so real. The detailing done on each statues shows the amount of time and perfection that has gone while making each one of them. The entry ticket fee is 100 INR per person. Highly recommend to visit this place. This museum is right next to Shree Padmanabhaswamy Temple's west gate.
Sunil's Wax Museum in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India is a museum that houses a collection of wax statues of famous people from India and around the world. The museum was founded in 2005 by Sunil Kumar, a sculptor and wax artist. Museum including statues of politicians, actors, musicians, sports personalities, and other notable figures. Some of the famous people whose wax statues are on display at the museum include Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Mother Teresa, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Sachin Tendulkar, and Cristiano Ronaldo. The wax statues at Sunil's Wax Museum are made using a process called lost-wax casting. This process involves creating a mold of the person's body and then pouring molten wax into the mold. Once the wax has cooled, the mold is broken away and the wax statue is removed. The statue is then painted and finished to look like the real person. Ticket charge is over priced. 100Rs per person. I think it's not enough for the money.
The first-ever wax museum in Kerala, Sunil's Wax Museum is situated near the South Gate of Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram district. The museum houses over 37 life-size wax models. The collection of models range from great rulers, leaders, freedom fighters, soldiers, sportsmen, politicians, film stars, etc
