Check in was smooth, their staff is very helpful. they have the in-house restaurant and food tastes great but I feel it is little costly. the plus point is room and bathroom is sparkling clean. bed is comfortable. the only minus point is being situated close to railway station makes it little noisy even during nights.
Location- Its is just opposite to the railway station. Rooms- Rooms are spacious and clean. Bathroom and Toilets are clean and maintained well. Property looks brand new with ample parking space. They have x-ray scanning system for check-in counter. Staff is very polite and well behaved. Cost-wise and facility-wise this hotel is best for a stay. Restaurant- A bit disappointment. We ordered kadhai chicken in which the chicken pieces were freeze-cold and they even didn't had tandoori roti and naan availability for the afternoon lunch time even at 15:00 hrs. Restaurant service need to improve. Costwise also the menu is expensive. Recommendations- Best for family vacations. I will definitely recommend it.
We selected Sunday hotel based on the good reviews it had and as we were traveling by train it was bang opposite the railway station - in fact you can hear the announcements of the railway station in the hotel! The hotel is primarily a business hotel and I guess it works well for business travellers. The hotel is well kept - the rooms are immaculately clean, the linen fresh and clean. When you enter the bathroom you wonder if they forgot to put a toilet seat! You find it hidden behind the door - perhaps a sliding door would have been a better solution. The breakfast is disappointing - little to choose from. It would be better to eat at the eateries just below the hotel - fresh and tasty food at a more reasonable price. The best part of our stay was interacting with the General Manager Mr Nishant Pandey. Soft spoken and willing to give a patient hearing, accepting the shortcomings without offering any excuse. And within our short stay of two days fixed things. Kudos to him - the hotel is in good hands.
Sunday Hotel is a very well designed and beautiful hotel with banquet halls and nice restaurant within its premises. This is my first visit to Baroda city and my first stay at Sunday Hotel which is closest to the train station. I loved the overall experience during the stay with great amenities and food at affordable rate. I would recommend that you do pay a visit to this gem of a place while in Baroda. We were welcomed by Mr.Amit Patel, F&B Manager, very helpful and approachable throughout the stay. Thanks to the hotel staff for great experience, will visit again soon..
We booked their Banquet Hall for my Daughter's marriage. Also booked 17 rooms for our guests. Hall and rooms are very clean. Staff is very supportive and cooperative. Professional services. Location is very strategic as all our outstation guests could simply walk-in from the railway station. Hospitality is very good. All our guests are very happy and had very nice, pleasant experience. Recommended for family events and stay.
Bang opposite Vadodara Station and GSRTC bus stand makes Hotel Sunday an extremely perfect place to stay at. The rooms are huge, super clean and extremely comfortable with a bathing room, which is spotlessly clean. Housekeeping staff daily ensure that the room is spick and span, with freshly changed towels, toiletries & refill of Tea, coffee, green tea sachets with a hot water kettle and a small refridgerator. Breakfast buffet is a sumptuous spread at a reasonable rate. The Staff are kind and courteous & a special shout out goes to Kiran, Hiren & Chanchal for their great hospitality. Music on the lobby of every floor gives the vibe of 5 Star Hotel. Do continue to keep up the cleanliness, especially the bathing room which always tends to be neglected by most hotels over time. We had a very memorable stay and definitely recommend Hotel Sunday. I am looking forward for another stay with them. Keep it up!!
