Bcoz sometimes they ask price more than origional price Bcoz they don't know value of things. Also don't bargain like snatching things, at the end they R poor so try to donate some money too.

Its very old market being organized since 200+ years. History of Surat incomplete without mentioned of Saturday fair. In local language we used to call as SANIVAR NO HATT. its keep changing looks from time to time ,we find all variety of goods being sold here. So its fulfill requirements of poor as well richer family. More important is seasonal items are being available at very attractive price. Bargaining is main attraction of this market (Fair). People come here to buy 2nd or used item of all sort's. Not only items live stock like chicken & live goat are also being sold here. Every Saturday people come from Mumbai & other city also to sell their items. Its very good way to organized market as its support lot many families, even Surat municipal also earning good amount of revenue by charging very little from shop power who setup shops here on Saturday fair. Main attraction of market is very cheap good from Indian made as well foreign good also available here. Your journey remains incomplete without visiting Saturday fair.
