Excellent excellent location. The first thing you notice as you land here is the peace... this place is so serene and filled with peaceful energy... very polite and excellent staff.. a wonderful place to stay if looking for a break from city life... all the best
Nice place, location is around 45km away from howrah. The food is really tasty, but rooms are of ok type. They made special arrangements for cake and anniversary decorations.
Nice place to spend weekend. Food was awesome but a bit overpriced. The best thing is rooms and the view and the calmness of the area. It has board games and other facilities to spend time. There is no TV. A shisha bar is there. Very nice ambience. Would recommend to visit with friends and family.
SundarGram as the name embodies... is indeed very beautiful and exotic. The stay is comfortable and homely, the owners ( Mr & Mrs Pal ) are very warm and cordial, the staff is well - trained. Food is awesome, large helpings of authentic Bengali food, overall an unforgettable experience. Special mention must be made of the bed - linen which is extremely clean and fresh. The entire stay was comfortable and remarkable.... highly recommended for a relaxing vacation in rural & rustic surroundings.
It was a wonderful stay at Sundar Gram. The resort is really very beautiful far from the concrete jungle. We found peace there and really liked the ambiance of a village and silence of nature. Really appreciate the effort of house keepeing staffs and all other crew of Sundar gram who were extremely polite and well behaved. The food was really delicious bengali dishes with appropriate combination of spices keeping in mind for health cautious people. Will definitely visit again with friends and families to find peace.
The location is really good, will give you a village like feeling. Food was homelike. Have space for kids to play and ample parking.
Initially I rated one star because it was very difficult to book a single room in this stay. After posting the review got proper response and room was booked. Changing my stars from 1 -4 because apart from the booking issue didn't find anything bad about this hotel as room rates are reasonable. However few things needs to be modified and those are when customer is saying fridge isn't working they should send someone to fix it. Also they should have the prior knowledge of how many head-counts are present for food . We missed egg in the breakfast.
Its okay for 1 day stay but anyone can get bored as no entertainment available. No pool and pond in the photo also have been filled. So no time passing activities found. But overall the ambience of a village is okay. Staffs are cooperative. Foods are good.
