Worst experience. We were visiting Chennai and had to take my wife to the emergency ward. The facility was ill maintained. Bathrooms are horrible - no soap, tissue papers or dustbins. Charges are nominal and staff seems to be trained. Pharmacy is still doing hand written receipts. Overall, the facility needs a make over. They are living in the past.

I had a great delivery experience with SMF ... Very surprising to find such hospitals these days who wait for normal delivery. I had consulted Obgyn.Dr.Sivagama Sundari definitely the best decision we had taken. She set my pregnancy journey right to avoid any complications and also made sure she waited for as long as possible to deliver baby normally. Also a big shout out to the team of nurses and duty doctors in labour ward (Girija, Vasanthi, Ranjitha,Sowmya Diana) who were there to cheer me up during the last tiring stages.

Great treatment and affordable cost. Experienced doctors and Friendly staff. We have become part of SMF family. We're coming here since 2006 for treatment. I have seen miracles here. Trust me I mean it. Get well soon. Take care

There was a time when this hospital was actually good... But now they have turned into a money hungry machine. They will force you into surgery. They will get 3-4 different doctor to check you out with each of them getting a fee. They will urge you to go into surgery immediately. Doctors didn't attend me for my bleeding nose for 12 HOURS but kept rambling about how I need immediate surgery for shoulder fracture. Each and every doctor, even the one who checked my nose came to me and told me to get shoulder surgery. I had my suspicion when doctor openly asked the amount of insurance cover I had. The next day I consulted a family doctor who told the fracture was minor and no surgery needed at all. I request you not to take up immediate decisions and fall in the trap of SMF

Worst experience. This so called reputed hospital treats people who come to pay bills for their admitted relatives like beggars . They didn't even allow us in and made us stand outside even though we said we've come to pay the bill for the patient in the specific room. After standing outside for 10 mins after we asked the head security who came later,he let us in. They're not running a charity. It only costs 5-10% less than Apollo. The infrastructure is also not so great for the price we give. Rather go to Apollo. With just little more price you get the best infra and would be treated with dignity.Learn to treat people with respect.

Very worst experience. We are consulting here right from the beginning of the pregnancy. During delivery time , my wife experienced very worst situation with the staff nurse. They have behaved very rudely with the patient at the time of pregnancy pain. We have never expected such behaviour from the staffs. We preferred this hospital based on their brand name. But they are money motive , no value for money. I request not to prefer this hospital.

Visitors are treated poorly by hospital management at entrance! It's hospital responsibility to explain on what hospital rules are in good way, rather they use harsh & triggering words. Won't recommend this hospital to anyone.

It would be highly beneficial if Sundaram Medical Foundation could offer claim bills as a standard practice to streamline the insurance reimbursement process. Having to repeatedly request for claim bills can be tedious and time-consuming for patients, especially when dealing with multiple insurance claims. By proactively facilitating claim bills, the hospital can greatly reduce the administrative burden on patients and help expedite insurance reimbursements. While I acknowledge the quality of medical care provided by Sundaram Medical Foundation, I hope that they address the existing challenges associated with insurance tie-ups. By prioritizing efficient coordination with insurance companies, the hospital can significantly improve the overall experience for patients seeking to utilize their insurance benefits.
