Aarthi mam diagnosed my daughter eye issue (really I was scared whatever other people told to me), but she explained very clearly. Always her motivation speech really quite nice. We loved it. At the same time we met two more doctors also, everyone was so nice. Each and every doctor was treat the patient very soft whatever u ask they are ready to explained very clear. At the same time hospital service, receptionist also handle very humble. So thanks to all. We loved it

Visited SMF mogappair this morning to see Dr. Jayashankar (head of orthopaedics). My mother needed sutures from an accident to be removed. We reached on time for our appointment. As always, we were made to wait and then taken to the procedure room. The doctor came after a while, checked the wound and informed the junior doctor to take it off. I, out of concern for my mother, happened to ask this doctor a couple of questions. Since this was a accident, we as a family, are still going through some trauma. He just looks at me and says if I don't have faith in him, I needn't bring her here. I told him I never said that. We come to good hospital to see a good doctor and we have complete faith in his treatment. However, this man just simply said he will never treat my mother and walked out of the room. HE DENIED TREATMENT BECAUSE I ASKED AN EXTRA QUESTION. She is lying there with her dressing off and waiting for the stitches to be taken off but this person had way too much of ego or whatever to treat the patient who believed in him, took an appointment, waited for him and his treatment. He had the audacity to tell me to take her and leave. As a doctor, he should have calmed me down by saying nothing to worry, I will take care. But instead he tells me he will never treat her. The poor junior doctor came in and apologised for her senior's behaviour. I wanted to leave immediately with my mother. However, considering her situation, I waited for the junior doctor to remove the stitches. At the billing, I insisted that the consultation amount be paid to the junior doctor because he gave me his time and was patient with me unlike Jayashankar. He has no qualities of a good doctor. He may have had a bad start to his morning because of some other issue but he should not have shown it on a patient. Why should we be at the receiving end of his mood swings? Is he doing us a favor by treating us? We pay for his time. We go there with so much of respect and faith. We have been seeing so many doctors for years. But this has been the worst experience with a doctor. DENYING TREATMENT TO A PATIENT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE DR JAYASHANKAR. Thanks to the junior Dr Gowtham and Mr murugan for the help. Added on 28/11 FACTUALLY INCORRECT, GREATLY EXAGGERATED. I would be surprised if you wouldn't say so. You would of course take the side of your team. I would do the same if I were in your place. I had a choice to leave but I chose to stay back because the wound was open. I immediately asked for the dressing to be done so we could take her to another responsible doctor. It was on Mr Murugan's request that we stayed back. He apologised and assured us that Dr Gowtham would take it forward. Check the cameras if you have any. I still stand by what I said. DR JAYASHANKAR DENIED TREATMENT TO MY MOTHER. HE WALKED OUT SAYING HE WILL NEVER SEE HER AGAIN. My stress and anxiety did not cause me to misinterpret the conversation. I very well know and remember the conversation.

I'm delighted to share my exceptional experience with Dr. Latha Venkatesan. Throughout 10 month of pregnancy journey, she provided expert guidance on gestational diabetes, ensuring a smooth process. Despite her busy schedule, she consistently answered all our questions with patience. The hospital may be crowded, but understanding the situation is crucial. Dr. latha Venkatesan was present during delivery and remains dedicated to outpatient appointments. Grateful for the care that led to a successful normal delivery on November 9th. Both my wife and baby are doing well. Highly recommend Dr. Latha Venkatesan for her expertise and compassionate care.

Really sad to have this experience at the hospital I had trusted 15 years back. Back then it was only Shanti colony. My mother was checked around noon at ER, samples collected and the unsigned test result were to be sent to the registered email by evening. Called the hospital and was given bunch of standard reply. What is the point of giving the test at ER, why promise the results by evening? Really sad to see this outlook towards emergency cases. I wish had taken feedback before trusting my 15 years old experience in the name. Hope the management corrects this .

Very worst experience. We are consulting here right from the beginning of the pregnancy. During delivery time , my wife experienced very worst situation with the staff nurse. They have behaved very rudely with the patient at the time of pregnancy pain. We have never expected such behaviour from the staffs. We preferred this hospital based on their brand name. But they are money motive , no value for money. I request not to prefer this hospital.

Great hospital for out patient check up, counselling , tests, diagnosis and treatment. Starting from reception, the service is far good. Systematic approach, customised treatment specific to the patient's requirement, absolutely class apart. Very good clinical assistants, dedicated Counselor, highly qualified nurses, excellent doctors worthy to mention.All doctors are listening to patient's doubts and worries carefully, after giving patient hearing offers great advise and treatment. One thing I request them to improve their service further with regard to executive health check up is that it should include TMT & Echo doppler test too. Overall excellent hospital for middle class people. Keep it up team SMF.

Worst experience I had with SMF Mogappair today. I had taken a prior appointment with Dr. M. Natarajan, General medicine to get advice on my persistent cough. My appointment time was 4 pm and i was there promptly by 3:45 pm and was given the first token. The doctor had not come till almost 5 pm or so. Whenever I asked lady in the opd said, he is on the way and i will be the first patient once he comes. I understand Doctors are busy and may not be able to commit time - so still was okay to wait for an hour (though this was also not promptly informed to me on the delay) However what happened next was totally unacceptable and unprofessional. As soon as the doc came they started sending few other patients (all of them came very late after me). I asked the lady in the opd counter why am not being sent first - they simply mentioned doctor only calling them. I lost my patience after 3rd patient was in. By then I had waited already for 1hr 45 mins. After I showed my disappointment again the lady walked in to the doctors room and came back to me only to say I have to wait further, without any commitment of how long and still no answers of why they are not calling by appointment. I just walked away, as i have already waited enough with coughing and spreading the same to other patients too perhaps (though i had mask on). PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE FOR ANY TREATMENT. I HAVE CHECKED LATEST REVIEWS BEFORE I WRITE MINE HERE AND 7 OUT OF 10 RECENT ONES ARE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ONLY. VERY CLEARLY DEMONSTRATES THE WORST SERVICE AND FEW DOCTORS WORST ATTITUDE TOO. P.S: If there was an option to do so, i would have given -ve 5 Stars.

This review is for the gastreo doctor Mr. Rajan Babu. The doctor only interested to make multiple visits to the hospital and repeat the same tablets ecenthogh we had the same test results for following the same tablets. This shows money minded attitude of the doctor who is interested in collecting the consultation fees and the commissions for the tables. The condition never cured and the doctor's made us visit 5 times to repeat the same tablets with no sign of recovery. Question to management- why did you change Mr. Sathyamoorthy who was the best doctor who treats patients with care and courteousness. Mr. Rajan Babu shows rudeness to patients and spoiling the good name of your hospital. Advice to people looking to consult this doctor, it's better to avoid him, he is very lethargic. Do not waste your time and money with him. Find better doctors for gaestro elsewhere. I did the same after spending 30K for consulting, medication and tests for the liver problem. He blindly gives you medication for 20 to 30 days and collect 750 rupees on every visit and your condition will not improve. He will happily put the blame on you that you have not taken medication properly and repeat the same medication on next visits.
