Sunapur Beach Eco Retreat - Resort hotel in Sonapur - Ganjam, India

I recently visited the Sonapur Ecoretreat in Odisha and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The resort is situated right on the beach, offering stunning views and easy access to the water. The highlight of my trip was the watersports offered in the afternoon. I got to try my hand at jet skiing and parasailing, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. In the evening, the resort hosted cultural events that were a great way to learn more about the local culture and history. The performances were high-energy and engaging, and it was a great way to end the day. The resort itself was well-maintained and clean, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a fun and unique beach vacation with a mix of adventure and culture. It's a great initiative by the Odisha government to conduct eco retreats like these at various places, and i hope they add more places like these in the future so that more people could experience these secrets of Odisha. Looking forward to come here again!

I am from Pune and wanted to explore coastal sun rise hence we landed in Odisha. I must say this location is amazing and experiencing with Eco retreat is cherry on the cake. Virgin beach of Sonapur is scenic and watching sunrise sitting outside your tent is mesmerising. We were welcomed by eco retreat staff Saubhagyalaxmi, Ajit, Khiru, Preeti they all were very courteously and helpful. The food was excellent with many varieties over breakfast, lunch, hi tea and dinner. The cafe service here was again upto the mark and decent. We enjoyed various activities indoor and outdoor both like playing chess, dart, rifle shooting, Archery, volleyball etc. water sport activities were also a great fun as there were various activities included in the package. The staff at outdoor games were nice and helpful too. Other than this we enjoyed fun filled evening with local dance, fire show and malla khamb show. All the artist were professional and great performers. When it comes to bay watch security staff, they were really cautious about our sea side activities. Also I realised the sea shore of Sonapur beach is more safe than the one we visited at Konark. They were alarming/ warning to those who we're trying to get away from their sights and deep inside sea or when it was high/ law tide like situations. specially kids and their parents they were there all the time to extend the help from safety point of view. I must say they were really caring and courteous too. Overall from all the aspects it is a complete entertainment and time out package for family members. From kids to senior citizens every1 can join in and enjoy. Thank you all for perfect hospitality and making our stay special here. If given a chance I would like to visit Eco Retreat Sonapur again. Its just awesome....

I felt joyful and had fun at the same time. One of my best memories that will stay with me forever. Hospitality and food quality is a top notch. various activities you can enjoy such as cycling, para skiing, jetski, banana ride, speed boad, desert biking etc. Evening show is superb, I loved the Mallakhamb act the most. Overall an excellent initiative and all must come and enjoy.

What a gem of a location.. Team, Facilities, amenities, Service and activities all world class... Never expected a location like Sunapur will give us this type of experience.. The water activities are super best.. Special mention, quality of food, service and attention in detail mentality of team and above all tourism Dept, Govt of Odisha 3 Cheers for allowing us to experience Best Kept secret of India, "Odisha". Sonapur is a Fab location.. All the very best...

One of the best Eco Retreat of World Nice and clean sea beach, well designed tent entrance reception , conference facilities, dinning hall , bar , sports facilities such as sea para gliding , high speed boats , banana rides , local site seeing to near mountains with Hindu Goddess, evening local cultural program the host both Preeti and Kishore are awasome with Chef Manoj is an expert cook and serve as per choice OTDC of Odisha Government had finally did justice to some extreme natural beauty of Odisha to be explored to whole world. A must visit for 1 /2 days vacations.

A beautiful and peaceful place with awesome water sports. Good hospitality by the staffs and delicious food. A perfectly calm environment with beautiful sunrise A must place to visit

It was a very nice experience in eco retreat sonapur. The environment was so refreshing. The best part of the place was its food . Overall the experience was worth remembering.

Need to replace the cottage tents inner doors into wooden doors instead of zips. Also need to include sea food like prawns, crab etc in menu.
