Host is very honest and helpful. You will get purely home made food, and can give your choice. Owner stays in same premises and ready to help in all aspect whatever a person required for him in new city. We liked home stay better than hotel. Best of luck.
Loved my stay and hospitality with Vikas and his family when I visited Gangtok in May 2022. Loved the home cooked food. And not to forget ever the care we received when my 13yr old fell sick due to altitude sickness , his assurance kept me confident too to complete my trip with ease.
Very clean and big rooms. Mrs & Mr Vikas went out of their way to make us feel at home. Food was awesome. They even cooked baby food for my 15 month old baby. Enjoyed every bit of my stay.
With Sun-up terrace was very pleasent experience. we stayed in three hotels and guest houses in Sikkim, But we had stunning experience with Sun-up terrace. it is quite reasonable charges. they are very supportive, loving and helpful. They provide almost five star facilities such as very soft bed sheets, multiple charger points, geyser, common dining room with smart TV and sofa. If i talk about food, it was very awesome meal. menu is perfect, something for everyone. Service was awesome and Vikash was very accommodating. Will be back definitely!
Sun-up terrace is undoubtedly one of the best homestay in Gangtok with some splendid views of the mountains from the room. Their food and service is marvelous and the owner Bikash bhaiya and his family will treat you like their own family members. Do visit this place if you are in Gangtok
