Awesome stay with nice sea view from balcony. There is a kitchen where you can cook if you want homely food. Breakfast was tasty & hygienic. Owner has treated us like a family . It felt like a home with great food prepared by uncle himself. Highly recommend this beautiful place with serene view .

Really a great place to spend your vacation. It reminds me of my home because of the great hospitality by the Owner himself . Really nice view of sea from the balcony. Beach is just 50 meters away & it's very clean.Food was specially prepared by the owner for us which has made this trip memorable. Will highly recommend this place for vacation.

I had a fantastic experience at this homestay near the sea beach. The location is breathtaking, with easy access to the beach. The owner and Shyam are incredibly kind and accommodating, making our stay memorable. I highly recommend it for a relaxing seaside getaway.

The resort is located about 500m from Payyambalam beach. To get beach view from the rooms it is important to book the rooms on 1st floor. If you get that then the view is good and the rooms are very spacious. The host Mr. Murali is knowledgeable about the place and he recommended couple of places to visit along with some eatery options which all turned out to be really good. Helper Mr. Shyam is a young boy who is extremely hard working and manages the entire property all my himself. 4 star for Rooms as ground floor rooms don't have sea view and is very small. 1st floor rooms are spacious with shared terrace and hence privacy is not 100% 4 star for service as it can be slow at times. 4 star for location as for the same money you can get properties which are bang on the beach. The complimentary morning breakfast is below average. The terrace on top floor could have been maintained well but I guess the property owner does not want guests in the terrace. Would recommend the owner to beautify the terrace for better use to visitors

Very homely and tidy ambience. Loved the view from the balcony. The breakfast was lovely. Shyam's puri's are a must try! Murli sir was very helpful and kept checking in frm the time of booking till our last day. He suggested amazing local places for our food. Such a relaxed, safe and comfortable stay. All basic amenities are available. The beach is hardly a minute walk and is very clean. We loved the stay here.

Murli uncle just made our vacation, so much so that we decided to extend our stay! From getting the most perfect cake for my husband's birthday to planning and arranging our whole itinerary, he has left no stone unturned to make us feel welcomed. He arranged for us to watch theyyam and backwater boating at kavvai island and plus many other wonderful experiences. He is truly a gem of a host. The caretaker of this wonderful little property-shyam has been truly helpful. We traveled with our aged parents and our dogs. The property is bang opposite to one of the most pristine beach in all of Kannur. The room upstairs are spacious, super clean with the most perfect sitout to watch the sea and some sensational sunsets! The property cones with a fully functional kitchen and endless supply of coffee!

We ( My husband and I)visited kannur for 1 day,I must say we made the best decision to choose this place. It is everything that you need for a calm and enjoyable stay. Location is perfect if you like to stay near beach. The staff was really helpful and the best part of the stay was the host Mr. Murli. He was cooperative right from the beginning. He was always available to attend our calls and addressed our concerns with utmost compassion. He also suggested us some places to explore and did arrange transportation for us. Special mention to the caretaker Shyam, he is friendly and easy to go person . If you are staying there don't miss the complimentary breakfast. I assure you will love it. All n all a must try place if you are looking for a homestay at kannur.

Wanted to have a time for my self so I choose a place where I haven't visited and that was Kannur and was searching for the stay near the beach and Sun N Tan was the stay that I had booked and it was the best place to stay there. The area is Clean,Clam and enjoyable. The staff took care really well and the Host Mr Murli was making sure that the guest get the right help that they want and make there stay has enjoyable has possible. Shyam who take care of the guest needs for breakfast and other stuff was a friendly man. I recommend people who are planing to go Kannur with friends family or a solo traver should stay in Sun N tan and this is one the best home stay in Kannur
