This much I can say Vinita mam is one of the best gynaecologist in India. Her experienced diagnosis, treatment and surgery is very exceptional. I have gone through the others comment on this site but one thing we should keep in our mind that we have come here for treatment not for picnic. Nursing staffs are also very experienced and well behaved (except one or two may be due to work pressure) specially working on the third floor. The house keeping staff also very gentle in nature. Overall this hospital is not behind money but for service, where poor people can also expect a good treatment. This is my experience in gynaecology dept. I am not aware of other department. One thing I found that due to age old building, the facilities provided in the building is not properly maintained. Anyhow, I pray at the holy feet of Lord Jagannath to sanction more power and strength to all the doctors and staff members in their body and mind to keep continuing this type of service selflessly in the days to come. I saw people are doing smoking, drinking on guest house , which was really uncomfortable for me and my sister. There are only 4 cabin room which should be increase. And guest house cleaning needed properly and regular basis.

One of the most disheartening aspects was the apparent lack of attention and proper care given to patients. It felt like the staff was more focused on charging money for services rather than ensuring the well-being of those under their care. This attitude made me question the hospital's commitment to patient health and safety. To my shock, I discovered that a nurse administered unprescribed medicine during my stay. When I brought this issue to the doctor's attention, he seemed dismissive and uninterested, claiming that the medication was not prescribed by him. This response raised serious concerns about communication and accountability within the hospital. Such incidents undermine the trust patients should have in a medical institution and its staff. The negligence and lack of responsibility displayed by Sun Hospital left a lasting negative impression on me and my family. I strongly advise anyone seeking medical care to reconsider their options before choosing Sun Hospital. It is essential to prioritize the patient's well-being and trust that medical professionals will provide the best care possible. Unfortunately, my experience at Sun Hospital has shown that this might not be the case here.

Worst service ever in my life. Being a doctor they are just looting people. No emergency service of pediatrics. If patient will die also, they don't care. After requesting emergency doctor visit, the doctor will come after 4hours. Police should seize this hospital for unethical business practices.

Everyone has different experience but personally in my opinion we are getting excellent treatment by the doctors and Staffs .Thank you sun hospital

They claim to be a premium nursing home in Cuttack and charge accordingly but the quality of service is not very good. This is just another ok type nursing home and nothing special about here.

Pro-Rehana madam assisted us nicely,explained everything very politely,very humble and professional. Suggestion - Need to supervise the cafeteria food quality. Atleast allow one attender in ICU. Canteen food is not upto the mark, and unheiginc,even plate are also so old and not cleaned nicely.
