Honestly the best dermat in town! After going to atleast 5 doctors regarding my acne issue, I went to sumukha skin care with a last hope after seeing all the good reviews and I started seeing results within just a week.

The best doctor in the city. He is very friendly and patient enough to listen and guide the patient. These days my father was diagnosed with herpes opthalmicus and within a span of 5 days he got almost healed where it would take months for people to get recovered from shingles.

Doctor's prescriptions clearly reflect his immense knowledge and mastery over his subject. Let me add a few of my observations for visibility. Clindamycin + Adapalene for acne - this combination is really good - Adapalene is very much needed for oily skin. Azelaic 10 c/o (for body acne scars) - smart move - as 20 c/o would irritate the skin by causing redness, peeling and burning sensation. Sunheal gel 50 SPF - it's a gel based sunscreen, it is not enhancing my pre-existing greasy look. 2 c/o Ketoconazole lotion and Eberconazole 1 c/o cream add on to the effect of Ketoconazole based Novale soap when it comes to fungal infection. Suggestion - use anti-dandruff shampoo, don't use conditioner - acceptable for oily scalp - if I don't use anti-dandruff shampoo means I will develop dandruff come itchy scalp. Issues resolved - fungal infection, body acne/scars, facial acne scars(treatment given - microneedling). Must visit, thanks a lot doctor. Adding to the above Recently, caught up with an allergy in my neck area. Doctor prescribed anti-allergic oral medications Ofine-180 along with steroid based H H Salic acid ointment, which fixed my allergy issue. NOTE - Steroids are the best choice for certain skin issues, it has to be taken under dermatologists' supervision for a specific period of time, shouldn't be self-administered as it is not advisable for all of the skin issues and long term usage may lead to adverse consequences. I feel I didn't give much justice to him. Hence, I am editing this review for the final time. Outline * His choices are very accurate Proof : When I met him for the first time, I was sweating. Hence, he preferred sweat-resistant sunscreen to me. * He doesn't give high doses to anyone. * He knows everything but doesn't waste his time proving anything to anyone, writes the right medicines, and keeps quiet. He is not at all money minded. * His clinic does have all kinds of machines. * Steroids are used by dermatologists' to suppress an overactive immune system. It relieves redness, swelling, and itching etc., If needed, he opts for that, and there is nothing wrong here. Conclusion : He is born to rule. His choices are accurate and he is very mindful about the dosages.

One of the best dermatologist in town for acne, pigmentation and related skin problems. Initially I felt prescriptions are bit costlier but it does work magic on your skin worth every penny you spend. Best of his treatment listens to our problems well and advices, gives clarity on what we expect out the treatment. As most of review mention he would never gives false hope like you would get 100% results but definitely results will amaze you. Thanks a lot Doctor.

I m writing this review post one week of my visit to him. Dr S M Purushothama is excellent n very responsive doctor. I had erupted n itchy skin almost all over my body. His diagnosis was perfect. He prescribed nutritional treatment to improve the skin texture and yes post one week it has improved a lot. Thank you Doctor.
