Very good property with a mesmerizing view of the valley. Food was awesome. Perfect end to our trip. Excellent and very warm service by all the staff members. Karaoke/live music was there in the evenings. The rooms were very hygienic and clean.

Don't stay in Summit Norling or for that matter in summit hotels.their staff are untrained and rustic under a totally incompetent property Manager. There is no proactive sense of hospitality. They damaged our expensive luggages on top of it. Very suboptimal experience.

My experience with summit norling resort was awesome . It's surrounded with breathtaking view and with many amenities. All the staffs were well trained and very much helpful. We also received a very great service in every point. Highly recommended to all the people.

Going to remember the stay forever: My family and I visited Gangtok earlier this week and decided to stay at Summit Norling Spa Resort. We were little disappointed when we arrived at the property as it is far from the heat of the city I was almost doubting my decision. But to our surprise all our disappointment went right away when we entered the Resort and welcomed by the most courteous staff I have ever experienced. The room was really good and the service was excellent. I would like to give a huge shoutout to the restaurant/room service executives Ms Sumitra, Ms Pema and Ms Gracee and front office executive Ms Simran. They were always ready to go the extra mile to serve to our needs and help us having a great stay. They were specially very nice and took great care of our daughter. I would also like to mention the staff to help us feel like at home during Diwali, with all the lighting and sweets. I would like to highly recommend Summit Norling to anyone who likes a calm and peaceful stay amidst the flora and fauna of Gangtok still far from all the noise of the city.

Rooms are quite big for 2 people, however molds are all arround. Tea is really expensive (rs. 80/-+GST). Food test average and considering the price the portion is really less(sufficient for 1 person at a time). Liquor price is cheap considering Bangalore price as gangtok has very less tax on liquor. 3 star for service just for the staff behaviour (they are really well behaved). Location is one star, due to its completely seculated from the city and need a personal vehicle to communicate all the time.

Wonderful experience We visited as family to this property. The room which was allotted to us was a big family room. It has great view from the balcony. The process from check in to check out was quite easy. It was clean and nice place away from city centre. Food was great and the restaurant staff was very helpful and friendly. Shweta at reception was very helpful and knowledgeable. Will recommend to everyone to stay here.

Pros : 1. Beautiful Resort. 2. Great Food Taste. Cons : 1. Location is far away from the market, nearly 6 km, means 20-30 minutes cab, hardly any share ride can be found. So let's say Rs500 for up and down to the market every time you step out. 2. Worst room for a 3-Star hotel. Instead, call it a Rs1500 waala OYO. Toilet flush, basin tap everything almost broken, you've to use too carefully. 3. No cell phone network, no WiFi. They are using 1 router per 2 floors or more. If you want internet, you've to come out of the resort gate and use your WhatsApp. Entire day you are roaming, but at least night time you'll use your phone, no...that will be too tough. You can only depend on your cellular network, that'll come and go...but that is the only option. 4. Service : Darjeeling/Gangtok these places, any hotel you visit...3-star, 2-star, 1-star, no-star, they'll 1st offer you some tea or coffee because of the cold outside. Here they'll not even ask water. They'll ask, PAYMENT DONE, SIR? You will call through the landline but either call won't connect to reception or they'll not pick up. But your call will instantly connect to their restaurant. So if you need something, every time...come out of your room, go to the reception, ask them directly and come back.

property is so beautifull, room are big and clean, hotel staff very polite and helpfull, food is good, location is far from mg road if you want go to mg road approx 20 minute drive, best hotel for family, beautiful garden best setting area
