Wish I could have a half star. Horrible experience we had in this hotel. We had booked the hotel for two days for 11,000/- per day. Right after we checked into the room, we found the shower was not working, there was no hot water, there was not even a telephone in the room to contact the reception or the restaurant. When asked they said telephone i being repaired so it's not present in the room. They had given different mobile numbers of different people on different shifts which was really difficult for us to track and call them when needed, so many numbers we had to save on our phone. There were big spiders inside the room and the service was horrible. To avoid such difficulties and get some relaxation we booked for the spa. The spa bed and pillow was stinking, god knows when they've washed it for the last time. That very night we informed we wanted to check out next day to the person in the reception. Next day when we went to check out, the reception person informed he was not aware of any such problem that faced as the reception person on the previous day had completed his shift and went back home but didn't mention about any of these. However we again explained what happened but in vain. The precious's day's receptionist was called but he constantly denied to have received any call from our end. But we showed the tenure of our talk in our phone. However, we were not helped at all. The room fare for two days was taken inspite of us shifting to some other hotel next day morning due to their fault. Please do not book this hotel. It is not at all maintained. It's really far from the mall. They charge hefty for transport. Not at all recommended.

4-5 days of my stay ! No scope of complaints.. such was their service and hospitality. Beautiful location, neat , clean , tidy & beautiful wooden cottage feeling. Complete value for money is what I would say in the end.

Everything about this place is great. Good food, location, service and hospitality. Bivek and Sabina took care of us during the entire trip. Keep doing the great work.

It's a very good hotel for family stay as well as couple..good stuff , good hospitality ,24 hours available hot or cool water , beautiful balcony as well as food items.If anyone want to see Darjeeling from the topmost side then it will be the best hotel for them. it's a best hotel for children also. electric katle ,tea bag , eating waters are available inside the room.clean room as well as clean bathroom.

A bit faraway from the mall so be prepared to walk around 15-20 mins . The road is quite pathetic . Be ready to scrape your car's belly especially if you have a sedan or a hatchback. The rooms are not worth the price to be honest and the food too seems a bit over priced. The view however is very good and tge staff is friendly.

Hotel is on uphill. Cab drivers charge you 800 rs for mall road and return. Difficult to reach by walk especially for elderly and childrens. Food is being prepared under unhygienic condition. There was 1 cm stone in chicken Thukpa at the bottom. Please check room first and then book the rooms. They will provide smaller room or room with no direct hill views.

We planned a trip for Darjeeling and it was an unplanned one so we were searching for hotels and suddenly we saw the number of guru travels and called him he arranged all the hotels and cars on behalf of us. The hotel which he booked for us charged 3000 rs per day. But the actual price of the room was 1400 rs and we booked for 2N 3 days and moreover the breakfast was complimentary which was not served to us and even not informed us and we had to pay for the breakfast. Which was quite shocking for us. We request each and every tourist not to book through guru travels he is a fraudster and may charge an exorbitant price even in the off season as we also went in the off season and where at least there is a 50%- 60% discount in all the hotels. And so this hotel.

I am rating this 1 star because google does not allow 0 star option. It is an absolutely PATHETIC Hotel. PLEASE NEVER STAY HERE. The PHOTOS POSTED ON THEIR WEBSITE/ GOOGLE IS MISLEADING. It does not look as posh/ luxurious as shown in the pictures. Its definitely not worth the price they charge. There is NO LIFT/ ELEVATOR in the hotel, and some of the rooms are on the top most floor, making it very difficult for the elderly to climb the stairs. The FOOD IS REALLY BAD. The restaurant staff is very rude. WIFI DOES NOT WORK at this hotel, and ROOMS ARE VERY SMALL for the price we paid. Further, the LOCATION IS VERY BAD. It is on top of the hill, and not very close to the market that they claim it to be. What upset us the most was the raging music and loud sound played by other guests, and how INDIFFERENT THE HOTEL STAFF was. The guests were playing loud music late at night and despite multiple requests to the hotel staff the problem persisted. We saw other guests leaving the hotel in the middle of the night because of the pathetic condition.
