Summer Sands Beach Resort - Resort hotel in Ullal - Dakshina Kannada, India

We were group of 50 people (15 families) spent 2 nights at this resort. It was amazing experience, resort location is huge plus. There is so much of open space for kids to play. Swimming pool is well maintained. Kudos to restaurant manager Rajesh. He helped us to manage food for 50 people with out any hustle. Food is also good.

Good location and access to beach is a plus... but the reception staff tried to give us some staff quarters as a room for my family. This room was full of fungus and spores... then we fought and got upgraded to a better room which was a multi sharing ... Restaurant food is good... Another friend got a very nice cottage on dame property ..so I recommend to mgmt not to let out all rooms or cottages that arr not fit for occupation..you will get a very bad name.. let out only the ones that are good ..instead of over selling

Would have given 5 marks but cut 1 marks due to water pressure in washroom. Room are spacious and have basic amenities . The property itself is huge and have direct access to beach . Food is nice but their service is slow .also their breakfast is everyday fix and have limited item.i would recommend to add one more fresh juice and atleast 1 North Indian breakfast item to their buffet . Pool is clean and gives good scenic view . It's away from city so if you here , please enjoy the property.

Very bad service and this result parking very bad and receptionist man no responsibility The welcome into the hotel was horrible. The manager Samson was a true harami person. He made us wait 1 hour for check-in even though we requested we had a kid. He was extremely rude and absolutely unprofessional while speaking to us. He offered shady deals without bill and further delayed the process. The villa itself was at least 100 years old and need massive upgrade. The beach the resort is attached with is extremely dangerous and one cannot play in the water. So that part is misleading. The breakfast was horrrible as well. Overall experience was absolutely ruined just because of the vengeful manager Samson. I will never stay or recommend anybody to stay here again.

Great place to go with family or as a group. Just next to the beach. Food was amazing, service excellent. Rooms are british era types and very big and good gap between cottages. Huge space to walk around in the resort. Definitely worth a visit once.

One of the reason for this rating is about the event that take place at night making the guests who occupy rooms to bear the noise. They have event management events planned without informing the guests who book for stay. And once u are there, there is no way u can escape. Also the breakfast which is complementary is not up to mark .. and will be starved. Location also not that great . I would rather suggest go towards north of Mangalore and explore around Udupi / Surathkal/ and good amount beaches and clean and hotels aswell/ From this place to go these mentioned places you have to anyways travel 1 hour. Take care .

Lighthouse closes by 5pm need to visit lighthouse by 4.30pm. Beach is beautiful with white sand. Children should be accompanied by adults as waves cam get rough at timesA scenic beach near to kasaragod town, but with no facilities for tourists. It's I'll maintained with litter all around. Developing this beach will attract lots of tourists- local as well as from far away places.
