Good !! Ferry connects tannir bhavi beach from sulthan battery and operates at regular intervals of 15-30 mins. Ferry cost is 15 per head, 5 mins ride from each points to another. Boat is also well maintained. Ride is enjoyable with great view.

I opted this to go to Thannirbhavi beach. Cost per ferry ride is rs10 each side and only cash is accepted. Ferry operates every 30 minutes. There is a park nearby and it has great view. Place and boat are maintained well and it clean. Bus operates from very nearby to go to Mangalore central.

Affordable and fast ferry services. Every 20 min you will have a boat. Price head has increased to 15rs from 10 rs and only cash is accepted no upi or card payment's. Keep enough cash. Its a small ride just to cross the river, don't expect that you can travel for hours. It hardly takes 10mins. Each trip the boat can carry more than 50 and only 10 life jackets will be there. So sit calmly and enjoy the ride unless you know swimming. Last boat will be at 7.40 if u miss then u have to come by bus by travelling 12 kms.

I've seen this place/service develop Initially there would a small boat Now there is a larger boat which is more sturdy The ticket prices are nominal of Rs10. The boat takes you to the other side of gurpura river where you have tannir bavi beach. The boat ride is small but is beautiful It adds to the experience of the beach Around the ferry there are a few benches at the river banks which provides a peaceful experience Also statues/idols depicting the culture of the locals There is a small park nearby for kids to play Also small structure on which people can climb and have a beautiful view of the river and spend a peaceful evening. You have bus services available to this place ample parking space for both cars and two wheelers available. Not much wait for the boat, both sides

This spot is significantly utilized for taking small ship to go inverse side of back waters to tennirbavi Beach to arrive at the sea shore side. Ship is accessible at Rs5 per individual per ride. You can take great pics here.

A nice boat ride to the other side of the river! The duration of travel is hardly any minutes but is a nice experience and at Rs. 8/- per person it's affordable too! We happened to see the coast guard hovercraft while waiting for the boat to take off. This ferry service is to cross over to the other side to reach the Tannirbhavi Beach.
