Sukun, as the name suggests is indeed an abode of peace and tranquility. Had the opportunity to spend a couple of days away at this amazing Staycation and loved every moment of it. The property is located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, but it is still close to all the major attractions in the city. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they went out of their way to make sure I had a comfortable stay. Our host, Vikas (and his Mom) ensured we had a taste of a traditional Kerala cuisine every morning which was just out of the world. Definitely a recommended place to stay if you are visiting Kannur. Vikas also helped me plan out some local sightseeing and also arranged a never to forget house boat stay in the backwaters of Kerala. Kannur is beautiful, go explore it and what better way if it's spiced up with a stay at Sukun.
It was a wonderful experience from the time I called and enquired untill we checked out of the place. Vikas was so kind helpful and took care of us so well. The place was so good and maintained so well. I would say it is an experience to be felt than seeing it on pics. Well maintained.. Calm. Neat and peaceful as the name goes. If you wanna relax and stay away frm the routine city life. Choose sukun anytime. Vikas didn't stop just helping out with the stay but stayed connected with us the whole trip... Helped us with planning the day, getting a vehicle on hire ans letting us know the best placed to visit. He is gonna be there for any help anytime of the day. I would recommend the place to everyone who wants to experience a vintage ambience, good hospitality and all together a happy stay.

Over priced , not worth the hype as seen in the reviews.Some rooms are pretty small.Location is kind of interior.Quiet and away from usual life. Privacy is pretty decent. Place is well maintained, staff are good, even the owners parent enquiries on the comfort.
