It's not a Park...more like a locality of families residing in individual houses. The area is not Directly connected with any major Public transportation. But it's also not very far away from Serampore Railway station and Nabagram Bus Stand on G.T. Road.

This place is a locality named Sukanta Park, though no actual park exists in this area. This is a locality consisting more than 100 houses, mostly bengali hindu families. This is a very peaceful locality, the residents are well educated and well cultured. The main road is concrete made 8- 10ft width approx. The renowned names of this locality are.. Advocate Sunil Das Pal, Dr. Debasish Dhar, Swapan Ghosh, Asok Ghosh. The nearest clubs are Agrodoot Club at on end, and on the other end of this locality, there is Tarun Sangha. There is no flat in this area, all the houses are self-owned. So there is a rare chance to have a room on rent in this area.

Previously this place was a low land. Later many people from different locations (mainly from the places far from Kolkata) started live here due to the easy communication with Kolkata (work place of most of the people). Serampore station is within 1 Km from the place. As the place is having good connectivity, nearness of market etc., now a days the land of this place became costly. This place is quite peaceful and people lives their life in their own way. 'Sukanta Park' is a place, started from Barabagan and ended at Bahir Serampore Road.

This place is Peaceful. Good option for those looking for Peaceful locality or area to live. Near to Srerampore Railway station, Market, etc.

Woh ! I was mistaken ! I have visited that place a long ago . Namely a park is not at all a park but a narrow passage of a twisted shape . It would be better to mention that this a locality consisting of about 100 residen
