It's a really cute and small outlet. The staff is nice and food is also yummy. Because it's on busy space so generally in afternoon and evening it's little crowded. My personal favourite is veggie delight
Love the food, the vibe, the hygiene. Everything. My favourites are - roasted chicken, Turkey and chicken, chicken teriyaki and peri peri chicken subs. Even the salads are nice and so are the wraps. I haven't really tasted the veg subs. I recently ordered the spicy chick's cheese sub, which is their new "special". It was so good! I cannot recommend it enough. Peppered chicken sub - it was nice and juicy, but I didn't really enjoy it as much as some of my favourites eg roasted chicken sub/ spicy chickn & cheese sub/ turkey and chicken sub.
I ordered 2 subs Mexican patty, Paneer tikka sub. Here is my review - Mexican patty sub - Mexican patty was way too small and thin that We couldn't even taste the patty the bread was dry and hard. Paneer tikka sub - again I was searching for paneer there were very small few pieces of paneer tikka.. The bread was hard and dry.. I was expecting the bread to be soft and fresh.. Taste wise both the sub were good but it could have been better . Please increase the size of the patty, paneer we are spending huge amount the breads were very dry found it different to eat it was hiting the throat. I spent Rs570 including delivery charges for these too sub which is totally not worth.
Subway is pretty standard. You know what you are going to get. This is relatively new location. Earlier it was across the street. There always seems to be a crowd and the staff busy to service customers as well as the delivery services which have placed orders. Unlike the US, you have to keep telling them to add more or the fillings are not sufficient. And in case of Tuna it feels like it is over diluted with mayo so there is less tuna and more "cream" and runny. Veggies are fresh and there are good range as always of breads. You can get your sub toasted but the toasted feels like bare minimum as they seem to be in a rush to pull out. As such this is a nice clean place. Staff is good though they all feel under pressure and hurry. Location is very convenient right on the street and in line with other restaurants so normally this place is crowded and a bit small for the number of customers that come. Over all if you have been to a Subway this is no different. You kind of know what you will get.
Subway is best when it comes to healthy meal. The staff in powai outlet is very polite. They make amazing subway sandwiches hygienically. Its quite crowded on weekend but they manage it very well Now the location has been changed. It not quite far, just an opposite shop and it also have new decor. If there are no restrictions then they are open till 12 which is great.
Staff service may be average good (visited round noon) and outlet may be slightly tiny but more than makes up for the lack of space in hygiene and A/C operation and background MUSIC (especially when compared to a larger outlet at new link road near kanderpada metro station). Also some pleasant smells waft from the kitchen. Mayo in corn n peas wrap was rather overwhelming for the stomach tho
I'm actually surprised seeing the poor rating it has received here on Zomato. Only Subway I love is this one though it's small and gets congested given the number of people it attracts on a daily basis. During evening hours to dinner time you definitely would've to stand in a long queue to reach the counter which becomes tiring. Service is really quick but it's sad that they cannot explain as to what's to be done and how it's too be done to the first-timers. I've seen so many people walking out just because of this. Taste - This 4 star rating is only for the taste. I've tried all the Chicken Subs and the Fish Sub and they all were amazing. It's too filling and one sub is enough for one I believe.
We are all aware of subway when it comes to the food they offer. This specific place in terms of service is good and quick. Atleast they offer better food. The ingredients looked fresh here. There's enough place to sit and they keep the place clean too. You can always go here for quick bites
