SUBHASH HOTEL - Indian restaurant in Alappuzha - Alappuzha, India

An average hotel. I don't think there is anything that needs to be exaggerated. Give normal meals with multiple fish options. We had Kakka Irachi which was good. They have a small parking space. Service was okay. A good hotel in chungam area. There is good view from the hotel towards the water body.

Accidently went to this place, but what a gem the meal is home cooked and very delicious! We ordered Fried fish ( tipalia and karimeen) both were absolute delight. The prawns masala was out of this world. The owners run the restaurant with much gusto. They packed us a small portion of the home made mango pickle which was a heart warming gesture. friendly and homely but finger licking good. Go for the food than the ambience.

One of the home made food feel you can experience from here . But please focus on fish items . They always have amazing fish dishes . This place is mostly famous as a authentic restorent. Every single fish items are amazing and it's not crazy expensive. Peak time of lunch it's a bit dificult to find a seat but still it's worth to wait . Warmly welcome and nice hospitality, food is tasty. Must is Karimeen fish fry and crab fry. Crab was so tasty and spicy. Appam, fish gravy is good! They way they welcome and treat you in the restaurant feels like home, it was the hotel running by entire family. Missed to eat fish polichattu. Resides next to water lane atmosphere is good!

Food taste more like home made food and you get fresh toddy here also the menu list is wide fresh and yummy. Don't miss this spot if you visiting in and around alleppy

The food at the restaurant was delicious, among the best in Alleppey, and the staff was incredibly friendly and honest, warning me in advance that the pork fry would be mostly fat. While I was slightly disappointed that over 50% of the pork fry was fat, the outstanding service and atmosphere have made me a loyal customer.

Worst experience. Went with high hopes after seeing the reviews. I asked for fresh toddy, and he came with a small glass. Then asked if we wanted to eat anything, but we are pure vegetarians so we refused. He left in such a manner that we assumed we were to wait while he'll bring more (for 4 people). We kept waiting thinking maybe he's getting us fresh toddy. He gave some dish and a glass+ a mug of toddy to another guy who came at the same time as us. After more than half an hour he comes to us to ask if we need anything and we asked for fresh toddy again. Then he says there's no more left. He wasted so much of our time while as travelers we have so limited of it. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Best for sea food lovers A family run hotel, very warm welcoming owner, Very much pleased with the hospitslity. You will return from this place with great food experience as well as very good hospitality. Owner is so kind Near to alapuzha town. Tharavu curry is awesome
