It was really nice being there. It was the time of sunset when I visited there. The atmosphere is lovely, so calming and peaceful. The children are playing in the field, the setting sun, the folks are walking, people are talking all of these are so lively. I took a walk around the lake and it was amazing. The evening was so peaceful to witness a sunset like this. So much filled with big and long trees, cold breeze, shadowy lanes, lampposts -I loved all of these.. I suppose in rainy season the beauty of the place gets double. Anyway the huge area, the trees, the friendliness of the place is amazing.. Hope to visit there again.

Subhas Sarovar is surrounded by variety of trees which makes it a botanical garden and it is so big that it is divided into plots and has lots of playground along with swings, see-saw slips and many more kids friendly rides, there are benches beside the lake where you can sit and enjoy the cool breeze in your head and relax. The place is popular for morning walks and picnics and a great place for bird watching.

Feels so nice to be here, the cool breeze flows, the space is covered with lush green trees around. Ocassionly you can also hear variety of birds singing. One can sit back, relax, take on their short walks or even cycle round in the premises. Overall a perfect place for a detox. The place is clean and well maintained.

This is a large water body under the control of Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority. There is a walkway around the water body. There are parks, gardens, play grounds, seating facilities within the boundary of Subhas Sarovar. Angling is a big attraction at this place. Earlier, the water body used to be highly polluted due to its use during different festivals, but now due to the intervention of the Government & different Courts, the water body is not allowed to be used during such festivals and as a result, it is now much cleaner than earlier. It is worth mentioning that the East-West Metro Railway track changes from overhead to underground inside the premises of Subhas Sarovar.

Place is very nice just lack of maintenance in some part, there is many people doing fishing on weekends
