exceeded my expectations! The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a relaxing stay. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a warm hospitality. The location was convenient, close to local attractions and amenities. The guest house offered great value for the price, making it a perfect choice for budget travelers. I highly recommend Subhankar Guest House for a pleasant and enjoyable experience.

rooms were okay but prices were high and one more thing while bargaining i cut the prices to almost 50% the point is that whats the point of asking for example say 100rs when you can offer the same in 50 rupees after bargain......dont just offer any number that luckily you will ask this much and the customer might pay ,and if he doesn't just cut down the room prices so that anyway revenue get generated,such a cheap practice i would say .

Good place to stay at a reasonable price. The manager is really kind. Parking available but quite congested. Location is really nice, facing the backwaters of the dam. You can come out any time and climb stairs and cross the road to enjoy the view of the dam. However, in order to reach the guest house you've to take the left turn (if coming from the NH19) from the Monalisa restaurant. Google map's location to drive a car there is quite inaccurate. Food can be arranged inside the hotel if you request the manager. He'll arrange it at a reasonable price. Rooms and the common area were really clean.

Look the it's a small budget hotel. However u will get double bed, TV, attached bath with geyser Better to take the first floor of the hotel room so that u can have a good view of the Dam or river

Review for double bed no ac room. Charge 700 Terrible experience in one word 1. Location is far away from maithon ,u need to book a auto to visit the main dam. 2. Worst behaviour and facilities. Can u imagine u are not permitted to go to the roof for enjoying the dam's Beauty. 3. The double bed room's bed is fit for one person and a child.( See the photo) 4. No Fooding is available nearby. They can't give you information like first bus's time to asansol.

This place is in a very nice location, as the lake is just in front of the balcony. One can experience the lake-breeze in the evening. Very friendly staffs are there and the rooms are also quite good and reasonably priced. Biplob da is also friendly too. The food is a bit pricey and the communication with the town is a bit difficult task. Couples will enjoy this place a lot.
