On a busy sunday afternoon we visited su veg. We ordered a couple of dishes but had to wait a long time for our order to arrive even though the Ac section was rather empty and they had quite a lot of staff- 1. Rava Masala Dosa- It was absolutely dry to taste and had to be ordered in lemon water to balance it out. 2. Mysore masala dosa was okay for the price they charge. Definitely could do better. 3. Cheese pakoda was ordered which was ok until we found something in the food that wasn't supposed to be there. On informing the staff, they did take some time to go talk to the other staff and offered a replacement. Though acceptance of the error could have sufficed, let alone an apology. Overall an ok experience but there are better places around station to go eat.
Had Paneer Chilly, Tandoori Roti/ Kulcha with Tawa Paneer and Dal Tadka with Steam rice. Order arrived fairly quickly. The quantity is decent and the overall ambience is really nice. Have been visiting for many years now and Su Veg has never disappointed
Good thing- it's a pure veg restaurant Location is good - quite nearby to Borivali Railway Station (Towards PF1/2/3) Ordered Paneer dosa and that was a disappointment to me --- paneer not adequately filled within dosa; Dosa was difficult to chew -- felt like hard rubber.. Chutney was good and sambhar was just OK OK. At the end, plain buttermilk covered up all the problems Overall an average restaurant.
What an amazing ending to the Sunday. We went to the Gateway of India, Marine drive, Girgaon chaupati. But all places were jam packed due to weekend and Basi Eid. One of my friend suggested this place as I stay in Borivali. At first I thought it's a small place, but that wasn't the case. Once you'll enter, you'll find a separate space for AC/Non AC sitting area, which is quite spacious. We ordered Dry manchurian, Mysore Masala dosa, Medu Wada and Thumps up. All these dishes are delicious. Interior of this place is decent and prices are pocket friendly. I would surely recommend it.
Have been enjoying the food since college days one of busiest restaurants in borivali though the food is always relishing. ..one of my favorite spot for dosas ...must try chat and Chinese too

Franky , panjabi is so good for those who don't eat onion, garlic. If you are hungry you must try Franky first Food = best Service = not much late Atmosphere = non AC
Favourite place to eat good food,great time with friends & family. South Indian dishes particularly are worth mentioning. Good hygiene, comfortable seating arrangement & reasonable prices -these are the reasons this hotel has thrived inspite of so many roadside street food vendors. Don't get fooled by small/blink&miss entrance to this hotel,it's spacious inside . It's the only hotel I believe on that stretch of Borivali station between platform no.1 and 3. The other option is a place serving'thali '. Su-veg hotel Highly recommended !
