If you believe in magic, this is where you would see it turn into a reality. The temple in my dreams has a magical magnetic vibe that just pulls you towards it and fills you with positivity and a magical energy. The beauty lies s in its simplicity and how beautifully the statue of lord shiva has been decorated. Besides the dome in which the statue of lord Ganesha is placed is mystical. It is calm and brings a sense of peace within you the moment you step into it. You need to see it to believe it.
Visited the stone temple , me and the family was literally mesmerized and we happen to see the Man behind it , he literally collected the stones and built it himself . Really really beautiful Temple , very unique , no matter how much time you spend here , it doesnot feel enough . Beautiful and calming !
One man's dream being single-handedly built over the last 36 years Crazy cool Hindu temple hiding up here in the rainy and foggy mountains of Himachal Pradesh Loved climbing through the tunnels down to the cave to find the devil creature himself Really enjoyed the time here meeting new friends and sharing some laughs
Stoned Kumbh Shiva Temple - Surreal experience, all the efforts of a single man blessed by the Divine. The shrine is also called " A Temple in my dream" Inspired by a dream, 65+ years old Satya Bhushan had started building the structure in 1980 on his ancestral property after seeing a Shiva temple in his dream. Perched on top of a peak, it's located in a serene spot, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. A steep narrow road leads to the temple. Being made of solely cement and metal wires the temple is colourless. Be it Shiva's dreadlocks, the snakes that circle his body or even the marigold flowers used to give a decorative touch to the temple, everything is made of grey cement. The temple also has an underground cave. The temple currently is incomplete but is taking shape in the most amazing manner. Do give it a visit to get a first hand experience of the place.
Creative and beautiful temple. Do visit. Be mindful of the narrow entry road towards this temple. The road is wide enough for only one car. Park the car at the bottom and walk if you are not confident enough.
Newly built temple on top a small hike. Very beautiful views from the top. The best part is one of caves there. It goes very deep and is very narrow. But worth going.
A hard work of 40years or more , a man of worship, a man of shiva, a man of believe, make it incredible and awesome. A unique and peaceful place, especially for someone who appreciates good craftsmanship. This place has took decades to be developed like what it is today, and its still in the process of being completed. The constructed areas are raw, yet beautiful in different ways. Do give it a visit to get first hand experience of the place.
Excellent piece of hardwork. Really great to know how a single man could follow his dream to carve such a beautiful temple mostly by himself... beautifully sculptured idols and other pieces of magnificence. Although the route leading to the temple is a little tough for people from plains but walking through the path is worth it because of the hardships the person creating this temple has went through.
