Great food, unbeatable hospitality and a close touch with nature. The jungle tour as well as the mountain hike are highlights that are very memorable. Dinner and Karaoke at the bonfire were a perfect way to end the eventful day! Overall a great and fulfilling experience

Exciting Getaway Alert! Just a short drive away from Bangalore, I discovered an absolute gem of a place - Stoneage Resort in Ballupet! Nestled amidst lush coffee plantations, this place is an absolute paradise for a quick getaway with friends or a team outing. Picture yourself surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty while sipping on your favorite drinks and dancing to your heart's content in their spacious open-air dining area. We opted for a cozy 1-room hut cottage for two, and it was an absolute steal at just Rs2400 + taxes. But if you're traveling with a larger group, fear not! Stoneage Resort also offers dorms for a comfortable and affordable stay But that's not all! Stoneage Resort is packed with amazing activities to keep you entertained throughout your stay. From adventurous treks to tranquil nature walks, there's something for everyone here. So gather your gang and head over and don't forget to pack your positive vibes and adventurous spirit. This hidden oasis is waiting to be explored!

The resort is located around 20km away from the city centre, and one has to pass by coffee estates and fields to reach here, which is a nice drive, but there is also a rare possibility of spotting elephants on the way. We reached here on a Friday midnight, and they allowed us in without any issues, and without taking extra cost for checking in before time. The rooms in the resort are extremely tiny, it got super congested as we had an additional bed along with the existing 2 bed cot. We did not get hot water on a cold morning here (June 2023) and they have a rule book that says you get hot water only between 7:30-10:30 AM, and if you need hot water after that you will have to pay Rs40 per bucket and wait for 20 minutes. The same evening, we needed hot water and were ready to pay, but again the hot water was not available. Ambience around is beautiful, and you will wakeup to the chirping of birds, this is something that I loved here. Also, there were 5 stray dogs, out of which 4 were super friendly, and the other one was a real protector . The breakfast comes with the room package, but beware, you will be charged separately for tea/coffee or even omelette for that matter in the breakfast. The breakfast we had (Upma and Sheera) was absolutely delicious, and we wanted a Lil more but it was not there. They take a lot of time to cook anything and everything. Even maggi took more than 30 minutes. Their dinner seems expensive, and super time consuming. We ordered food by 8:45 PM, and got it around 11:30 PM +, that too Rasam was super cold, even the other dishes on the plate were cool. By the way, the person who runs the place is super nice to the customers (only in terms of talking) but is rude on his staff. The fact that he was shouting at them every now and then was annoying. And yes, they have a beautiful common area, but if you love peace then this is not a place for you, they play hell loud music there starting from early morning to late night. The next morning we had to request the staff to get hot water, and the staff got it in a bucket. By the way, Sathish, one of the staff who takes care is super sweet and helpful. We had to leave earlier than planned, due to a personal emergency and they did not charge us for the days not spent.

Absolutely a gem of a place. Relaxation and tranquility at its best. If you are looking for a peaceful place then this is your best bet. Also they know how to party. Venu is a great host and makes sure that you are comfortable by all means. The kitchen and the chef churns out great food . Loved every bit of my stay at stone age. Keep it up guys! You are doing a great job and place is just lush

We had a great time! Short beautiful drive from Bangalore, in the midst of nature, clean spacious rooms, good food, great hosts, a trek in the mountains, some great music and fellow travellers. The all in package is great and then one can order other starters as extras. All meals over two days were different and good. If you are looking for a break away from the city I would highly recommend Stoneage.

Located in the middle of coffee plantation, we chose this as our team outing destination for a weekend. It was a lovely place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Food was good but nothing exceptional (need to work on variety). They have many activities like shooting, mud volleyball and they took us for trekking to a nearby hill and even walked us through the coffee plantation. There was also a live music session from a band named 'Kala-hamsa'. All in all it was memorable visit....
