Excellent experience. Very good service. Very polite and helpful staff. Will like to come back. A Coffee Corner is badly needed And for hospitality full marks. 1st Day dinner buffet was good so the breakfast, but dinner made my stomach uncomfortable.

Reaching the location is very difficult. Best to book your own car. But you will have a great view. We booked a 1br. Rooms are big. We were with a 1 year old and 4 year old. Would not recommend booking a place far from reception, as climbing up stairs takes a long time and can be tiring.

Hotel Location is on top of a hill. Be prepared to drive through a single lane narrow road and adjust when some vehicle comes from opposite direction.The room we got was the best room on the ground floor itself with the most amazing view i have ever had from the room. The hotel has too many steps and the lift only operates upto a certain level, so be prepared to go upstairs and downstairs. View from the resort is amazing and very peaceful environment. Hotel food is quite good but don't opt for buffet as this is overpriced and lacks variety. Opt for Ala carte. We have a 9 months old baby and getting baby food was never a problem, thanks to the chief who catered every request with a smile. In the evening when we wanted to go to mall road , hotel manager dropped us . Overall the staff is courteous and very helpful. We had wonderful experience & this was our second trip to this hotel.Room Service is quick and food quantity and quality is very good. Overall very satisfying experience Amazing experience

The hotel is located near the library chowk which is a prime location but the straight forward route was under renovation and we had to take ~5 kms longer route with extremely thin, congested and difficult drive. The hotel is built and maintained well, property is clean and huge in size. The hotel is luxurious but is literally built on the slope of the hill and needs a very long walk with many stairs to reach certain rooms like the suite with a view room type. The staff is polite, supportive but very inefficient and slow to act on even simple requests. The internet service is very poor. Don't even think about working from hotel, the broadband won't let you. Certain rooms don't even get telecom network, so be prepared to be completely cut-off.

It was indeed a good experience at Sterling. Location: a scenic mountain's view having beautiful sunrise and sunset. Around 2-3 Km from Mall road. Road is very narrow and ill maintained. One car at a time can be driven.

1. Accessibility needs to be addressed. - Some part of the road is not constructed. - Cab takes 300rs to drop you to Library and 600rs to picture palace. - No connectivity in other blocks except the hotel block which houses reception. - More premium rooms means more stairs and No cellular connectivity. Hotel wifi does not work at all. - Buffet is a disappointment, 1st day it was cancelled at dinner and I was not told till I went yo restaurant. They said order anything out of menu, guests could have ordered in room. - Buffet was there on 2nd and 3rd day menu is not great, taste is ok. Items were repeated overall not worth the price you pay. - Views are great, property is well maintained and is quite, service and staff is efficient and courteous.

If you like mountains and river views this place is for you. Had a great vacation here with good staff and service. The rooms were clean and the food was delightful.
