The age old restaurant of Bombay and very iconic. Had been there recently their quality of the food is still the same and the service is quick. Had soup and Punjabi food there. The services is very quick and courteous and very Bombay type feeling which when you visit there you will realise. I would recommend to go there and dine in. A definite worth for your money and taste.
What a horrible experience I had at this place when we went for family dinner on Holi 2022. My wife who is born and brought up at Kandivali never ceased to talk about how good this restaurant is. So I thought of celebrating my kids birthday here by taking entire family. I have never been so wrong. All the food we ordered did not have expected taste. Kebab menu which is printed was not being served. We ordered veg crispy, paneer65, manchow soup. Would you imagine that chef forgot to add salt in veg crispy? Service was negligible. Tables weren't cleaned. Glasses weren't filled again. With this bad mood we thought of completing the dinner and ordered kaju paneer biryani. It was served half an hour later. And in name of biryani I think we got pulav or masala khichdi served. In their defence they told us that they are short of staff. I think it is better to close the restaurant that day instead of serving poorly.
This is probably the best restaurant in Gorai area and very popular among locals and visitors. There is an AC and non AC Section. Service is quick and items taste decent. Prices are very reasonable. However there is a large scope of improvement.
Food -We ordered " spicy pav bhaji " Instead of cooking with proper spicy masala They added green raw chilly on top of pav bhaji To make it spicy -We don't want to harm our tongue we only want a spicy taste which should go after eating it . (The normal pav bhaji is average) Service -Some time they don't have the patience to listen to the full order (we understand there are others as well , But still require that quality ) -food dilivery is fast * I will update my review if the quality is taken seriously of spicy and about the service as well *
Good veg food is available here. Service is quick. Salt was very less in most of the items ordered by us. Motorcycle parking is near restaurant road. Rates are reasonable.
