I recently visited the State Museum of Ranchi, and I was pleasantly surprised by the rich collection of historical artifacts. The museum houses a treasure trove of ancient items, and I had the chance to see some beautiful paintings. The artwork was truly impressive. The museum also boasts a well-maintained library, where I spent some time reading. It was clean, and the collection of books was quite commendable. The museum itself is well-maintained and has a variety of ancient items on display. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and was delighted to see such well-preserved relics from the past. If you have an interest in history and art, this museum is definitely worth a visit.

It was a very amazing experience visiting there. Amazing and beautiful Things - 1. Scriptures is very much old like 200BC 18 sentury. 2. Wall painting is very beautiful here and there. 3. Murti of old people is very realistic. It reminds my childhood day how our family used to live. 4. You can see many Historical coins. 6. Beautiful acrylic and oil painting made by students and professionals on second floor. 7. Good garden outside 8. Book Library Things should be improved 1. Ventilation system in rooms is not good. 2. AC was all time off my time

Museums are always the knowledge centre. Jharkhand State Museum is a very good learning place. There are almost 5-6 galleries of Tribal cultures, archaeological sections, numismatics, paintings etc... There is also a small library. The entrance fee is very nominal. One must visit.

Very nice musium. Here you can know about jharkhand states tribes culture and history. Also there is a library where you can find all books realted to jharkhand hisrory geography, tribal culture and studies and also other books. I like the art gallery. But as compared to Bihar musium it is nothing. When you visit galleries there is very bad smell kindly maintain it. Government should invest in this and make it more beautiful because it reflects our states image.

After becoming separate state, a notable development took place to move this historical museum at a new address. Efforts from administration have taken the shape of State Museum established at Hotwar in Ranchi in 2009. The new building of Ranchi museum or State Museum was inaugurated by Vice President of India.
