State Emporia Complex - Shopping mall in New Delhi - New Delhi, India

A fair "eKAM Fest" was organized by National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation (Govt dept) to promote craftsmanship and products of divyang entrepreneurs during 2-9 March 2020. There was business presence of Handicapped people, NGOs, training institutes both govt and privates from across the India. The whole fest was decorated very beautifully and included cultural events everyday. In addition, there was a food court offering a lot of freshly made delicacies. A hotspot of Handicrafts works which are way too expensive... Too damn expensive .. The tea stalls outside offer delicious tea...

Perfect place to shop for state hand loom products. Products from Bengal, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, etc are available here at reasonable prices. Shop here for Saris, Suits, Stoles, Shawls etc. They have sales very often so better look out for good deals from them. Located in CP area, it is very easily accessible. A worth visit place on your next visit to the area.

Very nice work working hard

Nice Indian handicrafts shops in ugly building with a confusing layout. No haggling, known quality, no vendors yelling at you. Even better is the nearby Central Cottage Industries Emporium across from The Imperial hotel.

I certainly like this place only because it has Indian State Wise categorised separate shops, so even if u have interest in entire Indian handicrafts or just in any single small place belonging any Indian State, you can get the items from here... It's all just in a straight row, now if we talk about the pricing from my point of view n judgment few things are very reasonable prices without any doubt, but most of the stuff are so expensive (although it is handmade n regional speciality with assured n best product Quality)... And Obviously the building and the attached area condition is definitely not acceptable, as its always so dirty n messed up situation & on the entry point lots of garbage u can See, furthermore there are lots n lots of (1000 approx) beggers n just homeless people, some drug addicts just using this place as their home, just lying down on the side of the road, which is really as an Indian makes you feel so damn ashamed to your deep core... But surprisingly any government or anyone try to solve such problems... (Do they also paying taxes/rent to the police or governments )...

Each Indian State has it's own shop. So if you are shopping for traditional handicrafts, clothes and other items, from a specific region, you can do this in Delhi, no need to travel...

I visited there for food at bikaner wala.Quite very good place for eating food or refreshment.Neet and tidy place.Self service. Food quality is not very good.Location and ambience is very good.Any time you can keep a small pary for around ten persons.Very good for personal meeting.etc.
