Starbucks - Coffee shop in Chennai, Poombukar Nagar - Chennai, India

The coffee aroma just hit yr nose the moment you enter the shop. The staff are welcoming and enviroment is cozy. Had the Holi Special Thandai Spice Latte. It was amazing. The starbucks signboard also mentioned in my mother tongue.

Worst experience with this cafe. We left our iPAD and LAPTOP with our BAGS, and went to use the washroom for 5MINUTES. When we came back STAFFS in KNK literally TOOK OUR BELONGINGS and kept it in their STAFFROOM and when we asked for it they told us they are BUSY, and we have to wait. THEY DID NOT BOTHER TO RESPOND. We asked to check the CCTV but they WOULDN'T ALLOW us saying it is some PROTOCOL and said they didn't take anything. Then AFTER 30MINS of asking them we said we will go to the POLICE also thankfully 2 CUSTOMERS HELPED us they let us in to see if our bags are in the staff room after speaking rudely to US. IDK WHAT HUGE PROTOCOL THEY HAVE WHEN CUSTOMERS LOST THEIR BELONGINGS. THIS IS LITERALLY THEFT. The staff name is Ms.GAYATHRI.

I left for less than 5 minutes to go the washroom. When I was back, another group were sitting on my table and my belongings were missing. The manner in which the Starbucks staff responded next was the worst part : When I enquired my belongings at the counter, the male staff smirked and said that that my belongings are in the office. The way he responded here was disrespectful. To make it worse, Akshay (The manager) was called in, who said that this was their policy. Starbucks : Your policy it to slyly evict a customer if he refuses to move and take away his belongings when he's just stepped out for a couple of minutes ? Adding to the humiliating experience, I was asked to submit my ID to get my own belongings back. After I gave my ID I was asked to fill a form. I filled the form but still my ID was withheld because apparently the my contact number wasn't clear. One of the worst coffee shop I have ever visited.

A good place to sit and work. It's overly pricey so make sure whatever you are working on is worth it. I always go to Starbucks when I have a deadline coming and a lot of work to finish. I love their coffee and wifi.

Most of us know the price range of Starbucks and so that is out of the equation for this experience. This place is neat, clean and amazing. Has a great vibe and extraordinary coffee. Being honest, don't have much experiences with coffee and didn't know what to order, all knew was that want something cold, sweet and not too strong. The Barista was super helpful, patient, kind and very very informative. Ended up getting something liked and everyone else too. She also came to our table and asked if everything was fine and answered our questions. We also had an amazing time with friends. So the experience was amazing and definitely worth it. I was and am so happy about this evening. I thought of adding the stuff that we ordered but we lost the bill and don't remember a thing. Haha.

Parking is in ground level Left to was easy access to go Entering was a good feel with sound and music. Seating was good but I feel one more couch should be arranged we wanted it since we were with kids and it wasn't easy with chairs. Food order and serving was quick and fast. Cheese cake was must try, one cake should be good for two ppl since it's heavy on stomach can't eat full by one person, disappointed on the puff kind which was mentioned as egg and chicken but we got only egg filled since I was with kids I couldn't ask much. Rest of the drinks were awesome and nice.

Slightly pricey for the brand value but hardly ever disappoints. It's a good place if you want to sit and work or just to spend a good time with someone over coffee. Go for it if you love coffee:)

Super convenient for meetings and discussions. The hot chocolate tasted good- but over priced like everything else in Starbucks. Always go here for the vibe and atmosphere.
