Starhealth and Allied Insurance Company is one of the worst ever Insurance Company. They will do their maximum to reject any claim even though provided with all the required documents. If you fight for it they will issue query after query asking you to submit documents which are never easy to get from a hospital. Where as all the relevant documents you have already provided to them. Most people quit after seeing those queries. Those who survived will be provided with a small percentage of the claim amount in order to shut your mouth. My advice to all those who wanted to take this policy is that please think twice before going ahead with your decision. In my case first my claim was rejected. After a long struggle I have received 54% of the total claimed amount. This is the fact with everyone whoever took policy from them. I have sacrificed a lot for getting approved this amount. Several emails, calls to customer care, again and again sending the documents by courier etc. Even at this pandemic situation I have to go through all these. No humanity at all. Whatever I have wrote here is very true and from my personal experience. It is my request and advice to all of you that never take policy online. At the time of Claim you need to have someone to support you. So better to take policy through the local offices, so that atleast you know someone and they can assist you for the settlement of any claim. After two years I have'nt renewed my policy. It's a loss but not worth continuing.
