Above average biriyani just before entering Kanchipuram!!!
Had visited this restaurant since it was near my friend's home.
Food- A typical banana leaf biriyani with thalsa(brinjal curry) and onion raita.
Chicken biryani and chicken lollipop tasted good.
Ambience - Same dining as other outlets with ample seating area.
Service - Definitely needs to be improved.
The waiter was so reluctant in taking the order and also the person at the cash counter
Parking is also a concern at this place as you have to park opposite this place beside the construction work
Since this is one of the very few non-veg options in Kanchipuram and located on the Chennai Bangalore Highway just opposite to Meenatchi medical college, too much crowd. So if you are planning on weekend and don't reach there when you are too hungry as you will have to wait to find seats. Better plan accordingly with buffer time to get seat.
Service was okay.
Taste wise it's not something exciting and at the same time not so poor as well.

Fish fingers are made from packed frozen ready to options and the good thing is the waiter informed this before taking order.
I used to dine in and get take away often in both shop Meenakshi hosp opp branch and anna arangam ipo branch, Meenakshi hosp opp shop was tastier than other branches both taste and quality wise, otherwise both are good taste only, if you are seeragasamba briyani lover and want to taste a unique ambur style briyani you can try this, starters other than fish finger(they use readymade product) other starters are good, chicken 65 and tandoori was my suggestion.

Hygiene issues. Houseflies. I have noticed Star Biryani outlets Hosur and Koramangala have this problem. But this outlet seems to be a housefly paradise.
Bad experience guys, today had mutton biriyani with half cooked meat , so don't believe on reviews and comments.... Day by day taste are nothing in the star biriyani.. better try with different biriyani shops rather star biriyani... totally waste of money Rs.300 for mutton biriyani...
Too much of oil .. half of briniyani was floating in oil and too sticky .. mutton pieces were so bad .. waste of money

One of oldest hotel in kanchipuram, we use to eat here in my childhood after almost 12 years I have visited today in an evening time, same taste, quality... nostalgic
I loved their mouthwatering SAMBAR VADAI just yummy ,the taste couldn't change a bit from more than 20 years ,,they r huge hit in our area with gud food and hygeine..do try it down and enjoy

We had dinner here and the dishes are good except for Mutton biryani and Chilli fish, rest everything was awesome. Excellent in staff service. Overall, worth to visit for dinner with family.
