Star Biriyani hotel - Biryani restaurant in Arcot - Ranipet, India

Tried Mutton biryani. Awesome taste. Don't need Onion raitha. Just eating biriyani itself tastes good. Not oily and spicy which is good. Served in traditional mantharai illai. I ordered 1/4 Mutton Biryani cost Rs 130 . Additionally I ordered 1/4 Kuska ( plain biriyani ) Rs 60. So total cost Rs 190. Shop opens at 10.30 am. Better reach before 12.30 pm so that u can get mutton biriyani.

Arcot special and popular biriyani shop. More crowded at 12.00 pm to 2.30pm Very tasty Biriyani served.. but some times not properly mixed. are you in Arcot please once visit here...

For this price quantity of both rice and pieces were good... Really worth for the money. This is arcot style biriyani... Kindly keep that in mind... Don't expect some other style and disappoint... Sundays , go as early as possible... Some times mutton biriyani will be over within 12:30 to 12:45... Token system is there... When I visited one Sunday, there was no "dining in" option... They provided only take away... Parking is not very big issue... 50m to 100m before the shop you can comfortably park... They provide pickle with Biryani.... Anyway , it's a must try restaurant... Note: EVERY NEW MOON DAY IS HOLIDAY FOR THE HOTEL ( amaavaacai vittumurrai)

It's not worth the hype , I personally didn't like the taste there , they have a unique Biriyani flavour but didn't quite go well for me . Don't know I had stomach upset immediately and the crowd is really huge during Sunday . The price is really appreciated 120 u get half mutton but even the meat is unusual. Can try once

They give you the biriyani with worst pieces, which you can throw to dogs. And the rice is not seeragasamba, it is Bullet Kollam rice. Buy it only if you want a cheap biriyani and cheap quality food. Else, Grand Biriyani is preferable

I think the most hyped place for biryani. We could not get biriyani inspite of being early at 12.45 lunch time. High time they should expand the capacity. As we travelled so long to eat there

First of all, the review is for the Arcot star Biriyani at current era. * They just compromised the quality they have provided before. They have replaced BULLET RICE for the seeraga samba and compromised the quality of the authentic ARCOT STAR BIRIYANI. You can sense it while you taste. You can't smell the odour of the seeraga samba rice. *Atmosphere is very bad, even though they have moved the hotel to the new place. * They don't even provide Water bottles or Soda like Ambur Star Biriyani. They say us to buy water bottle outside if you need cold water. * No side dishes, starters or anything. You can only get Chicken/Mutton Biriyani. The one who fail to update themselves according to the time and era, will fail themselves. I wish they upgrade, update themselves like the giants Ambur Star Biriyani and bring back their original taste with seeraga samba. Clever People will prefer GRAND BIRIYANI than this.

Chicken briyani is better than mutton . Mutton tasted sweet. Their lemon pickle is ultimate .
