St Thomas Hospital - Hospital in Pothanicad - Ernakulam, India

This hospital situated at the city center and this city really needs a good hospital. Anyway, the management of this hospital failed to maintain the hospital in its potential. Most of the departments are inactive at present. I request the management to tie up with any major hospitals and maintain this hospital in proper-working condition , that will much helpful for the local people. Hospital is not big as any other Hospitals but the heart of Nurses, Nuns and staff is bigger than any others. Esteemed hospitality, care, cleanliness are remarkable. The Hospital stands always up to it's vision , i.e."To touch humanity with a compassionate heart and bring about wholeness".

This beautiful hospital standing in the middle of this small town, supporting community around seventy years or more. But now it's pretty much in an ignored state, it's really sad to see like this.. The staff/ doctors working there is very supportive and caring...

Worst hospital with over more than couple of experience and same feelings and experience are expressed by the localites of Pothanicad. My Grandfather's life was spoilt because of this hospital and their unethical way of treatment.. They have turned out to be money makers and have no humanity. It's surprising that Nuns also don't express humanity or hospitality to patient's and bystanders... Unwanted medicines and tests are provided and conducted respectively... Strongly NOT RECOMMENDED. For visitors in Pothanicad you can visit St Mary's hospital for emergency requirements and thereafter you may be referred to better hospitals in muvattupuzha, Kolenchery or kothamangalam on case to case basis.

Quite a good hospital, however not been used to it's reputation. Gynaecology & Paediatricians were famous.
