St Mary's School - School in Rishra - Hooghly, India

I've been here in this school since 10 years and according to my experience this school is not bad. Everything is cooperative and there are many activities, sports and competitions conducted for both juniors and seniors. Teachers are also good here...just need more good teachers for class 10. Principal of this school is strict that doesn't mean she is rude..because of her the children are in discipline and thats good because best schools are marked my disciplined students. There are smart class also available for students to make them understand easily and the best thing happening is school is soon getting affiliated.

The school can't ever flourish, due to the ill mannered & arrogant Principal of that school. Management is also horrible like that principal sunita gober

Being tuition teacher at Rishra, have heard a lot about the school. Ofcourse the school is not bad. Had an average reputation in the local area. The only reason for which the school is getting bad reviews online and offline, is the Principal, I guess. Apart from this...the school is okay..I believe..!! Neither good nor bad.. Just that the authority should be revised and they should rethink on their choice of Principal.

My own experience would be like..I just went for a single time regarding my nephew's parent's call. And the Principal just insulted her mother in front of me. Didn't even allow her to speak in defence. They don't listen to children. Children from only bad background take admission here, and if a good one comes...they are trapped up between these bad students. All the parents have negative approach towards tge school, mainly because of the manipulation of the communal Principal over the whole staff. Apart from this...there are positives like..this is a cheap school compared to the other ICSE schools, but then no proper library, no affiliation etc. So you cab admit your child temporarily here, if he scores badly and no other school would take him in. Otherwise, the school has bad reputation in Rishra.

This is a very bad school and the main reason is the principal she beats every student if he or she did any mistake or not. She only think that she is great. She has a big attitude and always insult everyone if he/she is a student or there parents. Before getting your child admitted there, just take care of the fact that your views or your say won't be respected if any. The school literally has nothing

There are schools that function just because the management wanted to make some money. This is one of those schools. There is no play ground,no decent library, no lab. But the only way this school can help poor families is because the fees is quite low. Teaching staff leaves a lot to be desired.

It is the school is good but the principle thinks that she is at a very high position and tell her school as the best school and talk to parent is a very bad manner and show her atitude and sends letter without any reason So i want the principle to be changed

This is an excellent school to begin with... Very strong basic foundation is given by the teachers... My child is benefited from this school... I am pleased.
