St. Mary's Hospital - Hospital in Manarcadu - Kottayam, India

The staff here is very experienced. The service of the nurses from the reception to the emergency department is commendable. The attitude and speech of the nurses and doctors towards us was very pleasing and comforting. The hospital was very clean and beautifully maintained. But the services are a bit expensive compared to other hospitals. But it is not a big problem when you get very good facilities.

Not good. They are looting people. They even charge for medicine cover with their logo printed on it. Why should we pay for their publicity. Most of the medicines prescribed by them are of high dose.

I had a very bad experience with this hospital. The physician over there is the worst doctor I have ever consulted. For a minor indigestion related issue he tried to admit me there for 3 freaking days. Mind you, the point that when I consulted him 80% of my issues have solved by itself. He was reluctant to listen to me and was trying to establish that I am having a life-threatening disease. This was the worst experience I have ever had from a doctor, but the nurses there are friendly and helpful, I don't know about other doctors over there. Maybe they are better. The positive about this hospital is the abundant parking space and nothing else.

Today I had a very bad experience with this hospital. I took my 9 month old grand son to hospital due to fever. I reached there by 9.15 am, contacted reception and informed us that doctor will start OP by 9.30 am. By 10.00am doctor has arrived, several times I enquired reception got reply that your name will be called. Again i contacted reception, since child is getting irritated and his fever is increasing. This time one person from reception tookasto the doctor room and waiting here since 20 minutes without attending. A very bad experience, not at all a good hospital in an emergency situation. If feel this grievance a genuine, requested Management to make necessary steps to attend patients who are in an emergency situation without looking at Token, atleast consider Kids case

I would like to say my heartfelt thanks to all the employees ....specially to the pediatric team ...dr sahla and nurses in second floor ....nurses are avilable all the time and responding immediately to call bells regardless of timing ....appreciating their input for the speedy recovery of my son ..as mentioned in the vision they cared us and mother Mary cured our son ...wishing all the sucess in the future for all the organization...

My experience with the hospital has been completely positive. In the labour room, I had an excellent support system. That means a lot to me as a new mom. I'd like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Renu Jolly and Dr. Mary Kuruvila for all of their help and concern.

Dr Ganesh is one of the best orthopaedic surgeons we have met. The work that he did on my fractured arm was appreciated by the orthopaedic surgeon i met in South Africa. That's how skilful he is in his field. He also has a way with his patients., quite humorous and gentle. The staff was equally dedicated. They are an asset to the hospital.

Good hospital for primary treatment & for monthly checkup. Rooms are always vacant. Well educated staffs & properly maintaining facilities. View towards north & near by churchs schools. Sorry sorry moved out from the topic. Anyway nice hospital.
