Offering a low level of service and care at a high cost. Doctors are very irresponsible and they come for out patient department when they need .We have to wait a lot. They didn't value our time. They give priority to their beloved patients. Most doctors practice in other big hospitals and come here for side income. The PRO department itself says that if there are more patients in the main hospitals they may not come or they may come late. we must pay for the injection and medicine not received in the casulaty. When asked about it they say they don't know, it's a mistake, they give the injection at that time. If we didn't ask they get that money for nothing . They do business in health sector

This hospital full controlled Christian mission. Very cleaned and waiting area main high light. Joseph's Hospital. The first Mission hospital in kerala and the second mission hospital in India, hospital was started in 1887 as a small dispensary by Nicholas Verhoven, a brother at the Carmelite Monastery in Koonammavu. The institution, over the years, grew to become the present-day . 112 bed hospital facilities available.

My son was hospitalised in the first week of August in this Hospital. He had insurance coverage. Prior to admission he had undergone through some of the blood examinations. They promise that they will include all the charges of the blood examination in the refund amount of the insurance. For that they kept the bills. And informed us to get in touch with them within 45 days to know the status of the refund. From 30th of August onwards I was trying to contact with them continuously but they were unreachable. Hi could not understanding why this was happening continuously and and today on October 9th of 2023 I personally went there and meet the insurance desk. The reply from them was surprising has they say that I must have collected the documents and the bill from them within 7 days of submission. And I must submit this personalily to the insurance department of New India Insurance. I ask them but why then you keep these documents for the last 2 months. They replied that this is the solved responsibility of the patient and the standby person to collect the documents and give to the Insurance Company. When I ask them I was trying continuously to get in touch with you they ask me in which number you are trying to contact us. I gave the number which I had with me they said this is not the number of them this is the general number of the hospital. When I ask them about their number to get in touch with them they say they are not willing to share the number with me. Then I ask them then why you are asking me that in which number your trying to contact us. The conversation was totally un professional and unethical. If the responsibility of the insurance lies totally on the patient and the standby then please don't collect the documents and keep in your hospital for couple of months. Devuda kept it for another couple of years also if I did in go there and personally meet them. They don't need to care about this Money. It doesn't belong to them.. The attitude was like if you want to get the papers from here get it and get lost... NOT AT ALL RECOMMENDED

Really getting worse day by day. The receptionist, doctors or u can say community doctors or nepotism based doctors... They dont even care for patients query and all too much ego

The hospital premises are clean. The rating is with reference to my consultation with Dr Rajeev Michael [Clinical Psychologist - NIMHANS] It was year 2018-19, due to a specific incident, I had been taking 1-1 consultation with Father Rajeev. It went well, and I appreciate his time, as he didnt stay within the stipulated one hr, and neither I was charged extra for additional time spent. In the year 2023, due to marriage issues, we decided to go for couples session with Father Rajeev. In the first 2 sessions, itself, My husband told me" Do you think these sessions are helping us, he is making it worse for us". We still persisted, thinking we hadn't given it much time to comment on it. But Fathers way of dialogue is very bad . he passes mean comments and passes judgements on one of the partner. I have come to know, from 1 other couple who have said, their couple therapy with Father was miserable. I would say, he can continue with individual therapy, but please stop him from couple therapy. He will ruin further marriages. No matter NIMHANS or what.

Worst hospital ever. The nurses there don't even have knowledge on how to inject. Also the casualty doctor doesn't know how to behave as well. Will never be going to this hospital. They should hire some better doctors and nurses.

A decent hospital near manjummel. Less crowded but have many services. They have some good and friendly staffs.
