St. Joseph Vaz Shrine - Church in Kurnadu - Dakshina Kannada, India

Calm and blessed hill top shrine. Surrounded by greenery. The miraculous place is holy as Lord saved Saint Joseph Vaz from assasins and made miraculous fountain. Water is still seen in the foot marks and the stick mark but man made well nearby has no traces of water. Uniquely constructed church is also a centre of worship and attraction. May Saint Jospeh Vaz bless us all.

- It is a beautiful place for hangouts with friends and family around Mudipu. - A beautiful sunset can be seen here. - One can enjoy watching the beauty of greenish Infosys Netra campus from here. - There is a meditation cave made of stone with dim lights installed. Very cold inside. Earlier it was open all the time. Now, it is locked and opens only on Sundays and certain occasions. - A children's park with swings and slides is built on the left side of the temple. - On the opposite side of the church a rock protected by glass can be seen. It is said to be the place where miracles took place. - In front of the church the statue of the Father and his disciple were built. - Fully interlocked grounds surrounded by well maintained beautiful flower gardens. - Washrooms for men and women, hand washing and drinking water facility available. - A truly mind-liberating environment. - A great place to capture some colorful photos. - It is less crowded except on weekends. - Best time to visit is early morning and evening.

It's a beautiful divine place. An aura of peace , tranquility and energy surrounds the shrine.sunsets are to be seen once in a lifetime atleast! Can't explain the beauty with words...well maintained premises and a beautiful serene view from the top.Washroom and parking facility is available.

Very beautiful Shrine and has a wonderful story of the saint. You can also get some beautiful rosaries and other religious things over here at a very good price. I travel across the country but this place has a good collection. Must visit place.

Holy Place and Best place to be in the evenings! Beautiful sunset and the calm weather will take out the stress from your mind!

This Shrine is located on the top of Mudipu hill which makes the view very beautiful. Peaceful and calm place. It's a holy place of miracles. A place of devotion and worship. The view from top is amazing. Clean and well maintained Shrine. The sunset view is awesome. Washroom and parking facility is available.

Such an amazing historical devine place, been visiting this place from my childhood.
