St . Joseph Hospital, Velupadam is a hospital run by Roman Catholic church. The management is under the guardian ship of a convent. It is a very old hospital modified nowadays. As it is located in a remote area, the patients number were very few and the service of qualified doctors also was not satisfactory. The result as you know was a poorly run hospital. But now that it is wholly renovated and there was a lot of doctors in different faculties are to be seen. There, at last I felt the air of a real hospital. There is enough parking space. There is an equipped lab.. The casualty is well maintained.
