St. James' Hospital - Private hospital in Chalakudy - Thrissur, India

Best part of this hospital is the adoration chappel ver calm and quite place.They don't do the echo or x ray etc on the appointment time. We waited more than 12 1/2 hrs for the doctor to start the echo. Hospitality is very poor. No more well known doctors. For casualty treatment this hospital is good. Medicines from this pharmacy are also very expensive.

My four year old son was admitted here from 28/8/2023 to 1/9/2023 following stomach infection. At first he was shown in casualty where the doctor seemed clueless and was taking directions from nurses. Then next day pediatrician visited and treatment was continued. They gave no attention to the fact that the kid was having cough and as soon as the CRP level dropped they gave discharge. The kid again fell ill and had to be rushed into another hospital and now I am typing this from the IP of that hospital. The doctors in the St.James hospital is lacking professional quality and you are taking a heavy risk by bringing your family here. Edit Following bad experience from another hospital I am making this edit. The insurance wing of st.James is decent. They are cooperative and don't add unnecessary amounts as claims are met by company. For Medisep card holders, this is one of the better hospitals.

Wow what a place! I just got a bone grafting surgery done for my wrist. Everything was top notch;everyone needs a shout out- right from the doctors, nursing staff, lab techs to the management. The sisters are great too they are so calm and really had a positive effect on me. My doctor was Dr. Binoy PS, he is the most professional doc I have ever encountered. No attitude or ego; one of the sweetest docs. It was a 4-5 hour long procedure and surgery was a success. Overall, thanks to St James Hospital for creating a great atmosphere and for being so affordable!

Lab service person who senior lady very high disqualified personality behaviour when we visit my son blood group check up , he cry for fear about needle she didn't convince him and try two more time needle push in to vein surface area. He requested to remove that lady she try to push and pull ,like kid ;she says don't cry didn't get, she is actress.one default from that 5 years old boy he not ready to enter that lab ,boy requested I sit outside take me my blood .that is the reason 30 oct 2023;11.45

Very bad service.. I was so tired when I reached this hospital and i had to wait 4 hrs.. And the emergency department is horrible

I attended the hospital on 6/8/23 afternoon ,which was a Sunday ,after a head injury . The treatment I received was excellent, very happy with the care I received . Causality doctor and the nurse was very kind . Special thanks to the doctor who sutured my forehead with very fine needle and thread which made no mark to my forehead The nurse in the UK who removed my sutures also commended about the doctor, how well it was done . Thank you to you all Keep up the good work
