St. Jacinto Church - Catholic church in Cortalim, Sao Jacinto - South Goa, India

Could see this little island from the balcony of my Hotel room, the scene looked straight out of a Far Cry Game. There was no way I was going to miss a chance to visit it. Made my way to the island and had to click a picture of the run-down St. Jacinto Church looking all mysterious and creepy by itself.

St. Jacinto island and church are a nice and serene place to spend sometime. The island is connected to the main land my a short bridge. After crossing the bridge a road to the right side takes us to the church. The church has a nice architecture and is located right at the banks of River Zuari. This place is highly recommend for visit.

Sao Jacinto island is a nice little breakaway near the airport that you may want to visit if you'd like to see a church on an island. It has a nice little view from the corner of the church but honestly that's really about the end of it. If you like church architecture go take a look but you're probably better off heading to old Goa to see the churches and their architecture if that's what you're really after.

It's a beautiful place to watch the sunset! It's really calm and you won't find a lot of tourists there.

Best place to chill out with your friends in the evening

As i go there frequently, there's always a magic in the air and wave. The place has a relax and chill weather, people usually come here for photography purpose. The place should be visited by every tourist.

Quiet place, good Ambience, friendly locals, Pleasant environment at evening

A very beautiful & peaceful location just short of Vasco. Good to Watch the sun set /morning /Evening stroll. Rocky the local dog will give you good company.
