St. Antony Church Panchwadi is the only Roman Catholic Church in Panchwadi that holds affiliation of over Six Chapels in the village. This modern church building is more than 35 years old and has some of the best architectural design. Above the altar there is an oval shaped tomb. The altar is at the centre and the people sit all around. It has a semicercle upper balcony that faces the alter. You can see the statue of Our Lady of Fatima and St. Joseph Vaz and Christ the Redeemer outside. Yearly Two feasts are held. One in May that is devoted to the Patron St. Anthony and the other one is held on the Second Sunday of November dedicated to the Our Lady of Piety. The church is located 5 Km from Shiroda and 8 Km from Curchorem. More than 800 people are part of the Panchwadi Parish. The parish Church of Panchwadi is included in the Ponda Dienery of the churches of Goa.
