Huge church constructed in the shape of cross. Adoration chapel is available for prayer at all times. The atmosphere around the church is calm and peaceful.
Not much fancy, but 1 time visit if u r interested in archaeology, having some extra time, as entry cost is also cheap, just 20/-.
St. Andrews church is located in the heart of the Vasco city. It is more than 450 years old Roman Catholic Church where mass is celebrated every day now and every Sunday at 8 am. It's the biggest churches in Vasco da Gama. One of the most amazing and serene churches in Goa. It has a wonderful history and the ambiance around the church in the church grounds is wonderful. It demonstrates the Goan architecture and is a very good example of well planned church. The whole Church looks fabulous in pristine white color from outside and is magnificent from inside.
One of the oldest church in goa, felt really peaceful.. As it was sunday morning i directly visited this church after i landed at goa airport..beautiful church and made me feel very positive and calm.
Located in the heart of the city it is the main church of Vasco Da Gama. A beautiful architectural monument build in the Portuguese era(Picture Attached). The structural heritage is passed on till date and all is very well preserved by the Church Diasesaon. Truly a divine experience to be in the church. Proud to have studied in this church school!!
Nice place.. calm & peaceful. Only thing, being a non catholic, attending mass in church is weird for the church employees which actually makes very embarrassing & awkward.
