A nice cottage , where you can experience a blissful escape from the chaos of daily life, and I left feeling rejuvenated, refreshed, and utterly enchanted. First and foremost, the cottage itself was a delightful haven. Nestled amidst nature's embrace, it boasted an authentic charm that seamlessly blended with its picturesque surroundings. The care taker will take you to a small trekking to a view point which was superb.
Peaceful environment and good environment and surroundings .....should work on wifi network which is very slow
"Amazing property" Paradise on earth kind of a place. We did 7 km trek at a long stretch. The views from the top made us lost. We came across a lot of new birds & herbs. It was a great experience.
We received top notch service here and the stay was an amazing experience and a memorable one.
Worth for time and money. I will strongly recommend for friends and family.

SRK cottage is a house with 2 bedrooms, a living room, dining room and a fully equipped kitchen (with crockery, utensils, fridge) and 2 bathrooms.
The property also provides terrace access to guests and has a mini play area for kids, provision for barbecue and a sit out for camp fire et all. The entire property is for the guests to use and provides complete privacy.
The location is quite calm as well and well suited for those who just want to sit back and relax. There is not much to do in Sirumalai (no tourist spots as such) but we liked though for a relaxing stay.
The property owner is a wonderful, accommodative person who isn't doing this for commercial purposes alone. He prefers to let it out for families and has a lot of plans to improve the property as such.
The quality of bedding, cleanliness of bed spreads can be improved and the property owner was very receptive of this feedback and assured that it will be taken care of, in future. The approach road to the property is a bit narrow, patchy in quite a few spots which guests need to be mindful of, especially if you are coming in low slung cars.
Would definitely recommend this for families and friends who are not very keen on tourist spots and just want to sit back and relax. More than the property as such, people "matter" and we really liked the property owner and his accommodative nature.
You can't ask for a place better than this to stay in Sirumalai. Be it a trip to relax or a trip to party, SRK cottage will satisfy your needs. You get the whole place to yourself with no other building in eyesight. The property is huge which can even accommodate even 10 people. Its just you and nature. Located on a cliff edge you get a magnificent view of the mountains and land below. The caretaker was very courteous and will take care of all your needs from food, milk, campfire and even takes the guests for trekking to amazing spots. I went with no expectations as it was my first trip to Sirumalai. It turned out to be mind-blowing.
The local person maintaining this building, named Ramiah was really friendly and made a great cook too. And this building is almost edge of a cliff so view was awesome. And the nearby way was good to take stroll where we saw a indian gaur.
One of the best place for friends and family get together... neatly maintained, 2bed rooms, dining area,play area for kids...view point nearby...calm and scenic place...can accomodate upto 15ppls(for friends)... parking available,heater , kitchen available...2kms..off road from main road...but any car will go there.. currently 1000per head...care taker also available for cooking,,he ll take you for trekking also..most of the network available in outside of cottage...if you go to open terrace u will get manageable Airtel network...no wifi available so far, currently two bathrooms available..if they add one more that would be great

get a bus from dhindukkal via sirumalai and reach the agasthiyapuram hill, from there by walk you can go in a sand and stone filled path towards velli malai hill top,filled with full of medicinal herbs and lemon grasses... its really a peaceful place
