A relatively small airport. Lot of security checks. One has to finish military security and baggage scan and then do the same with AAI. The toilets are average clean. The check in counters are like bus stand! Limited eateries and most of them exorbitant priced. Lot more needs to be done to get this to the standards of other cities in India.

Beautiful the same as Kashmir, the only thing is very huge traffic and a crowd of passengers, do make sure you reach the airport 1 hour earlier to avoid any delay or miss. The airport is very clean and also has very tight security, make sure you have an ID card either in hard copy or Digilocker.

Very high security airport. If you did a lot of shopping in Srinagar, better adjust the weight between your cabin and check in bag before arriving at the airport. There are multiple checks and you won't be able to adjust the weight once you reach the checkin counters. Not much food options are there inside. But the views outside are stunning. We couldn't see much as it was cloudy but still beautiful.

Security check at this airport is different then other airports in india. Two security checks and bag scans for departures and 1 security check after bag drop. Every bag is tagged and checked. The food options at this airport are limited. Only personal cars are allowed near the airport. Autos are permitted till 1km outside main airport entry.
