SRI VENKATESWARA MUSEUM, TIRUMALA - History museum in Tirupathi, Tirupati - Chittoor, India

Sri Venkateshwara Museum is located just opposite to Exit Gate No. 4 (Laddu Counter) of Tirumala Tirupati Temple. SV Museum is the best place to experience the Traditional History of Tirumala and the Hindu. This is not only for the aged people and also kids can enjoy and rejoice their timings. Right now this SV Museum is under renovation. I hope it will be opened after January 2024.

One of the best places to see in Tirumala, I think it's closed now and they are modifying/renewating the museum. Better to enquire and go to the place before you plan your visit.

This place has good and unique collections. One can spend an hour at this place. A Small Request: We are responsible for our actions. Let's be mindful of all our actions. Kids observe and pick the wrong stuff quickly from elders.

Museum is situated in a sprawling building with an area of 1.25 lakh sq.ft opposite to Vaikuntham Queue Complex in kaleidoscopic environ of Tirumala surrounded by beautiful gardens and it is a rejoicing place for visiting pilgrims. This museum is an epitome of Traditions of Tirumala, Vaishnavism and Hindu culture. It houses more than 6000 items of historical interest ranging in date from very early period to the present. The collections are spread over ten sections ranging from archaeology to contemporary items. Sri Venkateswara Temple in Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh has been a repository of rich heritage, cherished by the kings, nobles, poets, sculptures, dancers, musicians all gathered in Tirumala and enriched the temple lore. It contains valuable antique materials to enable an art historian to trace the history and development of temple art.

It a nice experience to visit the museum and we will see a wide variety of coins status inside the museum. It will 2 entrance. You can reach the museum by using the free bus (sree vari dharmaradham) or you Can take a cab taxi etc .if you have strength you can reach it by walk. Currently it is closed due some renovation work

Located back side of the main Tirumala temple. You can reach here through own vehicles or through free bus also. Rare collection of idols and monuments of lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy. Really very good collection and maintained very neatly with high security. Good parking facility is also available.
