It was one of the oldest hotel which was maintained by an holy family from generation to generations. The quality and taste was fantastic. Every one must try their poori at this life time.
It's a very old traditional and authentic Brahmin restaurant. Also, a short-duration restaurant i.e It opens between 2 to 5 pm only. Only tiffin items are available. I had Idly, vellaiyaappam, Rava khichdi and poori masala. All the food items are excellent. But Rava khichdi was excellent and addictive. Finally, I had a filter coffee. The filter coffee I had here was the worst coffee of my life. I never had such a bad coffee anywhere.
Lovely idli with hot sambhar Vada combo followed by mini Puri & you can enjoy it with a bite of sweet. Idle for tourists only in the afternoon (2 to 4). But you may miss a few if you are after 3 pm since they make less quantity. So try to enjoy your trip
Rumba Nalla Experience. Ambience is serene. Food is served with humility. Taste is divine. On price, they charge minimum. I had food with my wife 4 idlis 2 Vada 2 coffee Total bill Rs. 90/-.
A restaurant with great hype but doesn't live to none of it. Place isn't clean, servers are very rude, they won't even bother to respond if you're moving between tables when u are in a big gang. "Mama"s are really doing great service to humanity. Loving, caring like a Mom. Serving dishes prepared by themselves. Sambar Vadai is a "must" with Idly, a great combo. Thayir Vadai was very spongy and simply tasty demanding repeat serving. Though out of shape the Vadai is their USP. A decorated Curd Vadai with kara boondi, sprinkled with pomogran and greens can't beat theirs in taste.
