Sri Velu Thampi Dalawa Statue - Historical landmark in Thiruvananthapuram - Thiruvananthapuram, India

Place known as stachu. Paid parking available , no separate parking lot, but can be parked on roadside by paying to corporation. Very important place situated at walking distance from thampanoor, minimum charge distance for autos but charges may vary since town. Secretariat situated here right opposite stachu. Corporate headquarters of many companies including many banks, govt offices situated in between stachu and thampanoor. Buses connecting thampanoor and stachu are not frequent. But buses are frequent between railway over bridge and stachu. Lot of hotels and lodges of various rates are available in and around stachu No public toilets available.

The statue positioned by the side of the road and may get unnoticed since it is facing the old road(statue road). This one is historically important and the name "Statue Junction" came by virtue of this statue.
