Sri Sundara Varadararaja Perumal Temple - Hindu temple in Uthiramerur - Kanchipuram, India

3 moolavar in three floors, All devotees are allowed to all three floors to worship perumal. Big temple with totally 6 perumal, remaining 3 perumal are surrounding in the gopuram. Such a calm & beautiful atmosphere. Main gopuram Anjeneyar statue is one of the impressive thing, which is quite a big.

Devine experience. Excellent Architecture. More than 1300 years old. Ashtalakshmi Temple in Chennai was built using this Architecture.

Ancient and popular temple. The temple has a unique architecture. The priests are kind and made arrangements for a good darshan. Swami Desikan Sannadhi is maintained very nicely. Located on the main road but parking facilities are there. Few shops are outside the temple to purchase flowers and thulasi. Peaceful and divine atmosphere. Needs renovation and maintenance.

Don't follow the official timing...I went to Uthiramerur temples today... Sundara varadharaja, balasubramani and kailasanathar temple... Due to low crowd they closed the temples at 11.00a.m itself... So dont thing temples will close at 12 r 12.30pm as mentioned in Google sites... Try to finish all three temples before 11... And they said evening opening time is 5.00pm....

A very ancient Temple, the presiding dieties in three floors. This Temple is not wheelchair accessible. Full of rich architecture. On a very hot day to its cool inside the Temple.

Should not miss this temple which is 1300 years old. All the main deities are made of wood and so thailakaapu (herbal oil application) is done regularly. Nine forms of lord Vishnu in the temple at three levels.
