The best vegetarian meals place at thirthahalli by far. A bit strong on usage of coconuts, this place makes good sambar/huli, amazing chutney and palya, and good ragi akki and jolada rottis. The meal gets an extra oomph as it's served steaming hot. No takeaways allowed though. One gets sumptuous meal at budget price, and a must visit if you love coconut heavy Malnad meals. The place is little tricky to find if you are new. The map is accurate but ask the locals when you arrive and can't find the place.
Very good vegetarian Mess of Thirthahalli on Koppa Road at Kuvempu Circle. Raagirotti, Joladarotti & Akkirotti are serving with Meals! Once you tried then you don't go to Hotels in your next visit to Thirthahalli or going via!! Visit once!! Rates are very negligible!!

I visited the place on Sunday only to find out that Google information about it being open on Sunday was wrong. It is definitely closed on Sunda.y in fact most of the vegetarian small homely eateries are closed on Sunday in thirthahalli.
Great people Great Food. Authentic Malnad style food. Breath taking pickle. Mouth watering butter milk. Varieties of rotis. Fresh and hot rice without Soda. I bet you your hunger will be relinquished royally. Do visit here for Lunch when you visit Thirthahalli.
